***** AORUS DID NOT INVENT THE GRAPHICS CARD, THEY PERFECTED IT! RTX 2000 SERIES!! *****

strange my power limit is 100 in the gigabyte engine software, thats why i recommended you install it and set it to default. Your power limit was high for this card which barely has enough cooling.

glad to see better temps.

I had increased it to 122 in AfterBurner myself thats why, now I have reduced it to 110 and knocked 5c of the max temp. Core boost stayed more or less exactly the same.

Just need to run like this for a bit to make sure its stable.

Honestly I think some games aren't optomised very well. My GPU gets to the mid 80s in Tomb Raider 2013. But around 73c in Battlefield 5 stable at 2010MHz.

Some more superposition benchmarks listed below. Starting to like the card albeit being hotter than I'd like it still performs well, Tomb Raider 2013 might be a bad outlier.

I found my max stable overclock. +140 on the core and +900 on the memory. Superposition crashes at around scene 14/17 with the core at 150 and doesn't load at all with +950 or +1000 on the memory. So close to overtaking @Kaapstad on the 4k superposition benchmark but alas that's all my card can manage on air.

First person view games are typically easier on GPU's because they have less to render, tomb raider has to render the character model as its third person view.

Well looks like I will be gettin my card back as they have found no fault with it just s ordered a new power supply to rule that out of the equation they played games for 5days and didn’t flinch lol.

How does it go with the power limit down mate is it more stable .

What are the temps of your card now that you have set the power limit .

I have got the curve very aggressive, from about 75c they are at 100. GPU hits 81 but mostly 80 with a 110 power limit. Im ok with that, with 122 it gets up to 85 easy and then goes up from there.

Ive yet to do much gaming at 110 still, but I think it will be good.

Do you have the MSI card now then?

  1. No mate OcUK found no fault with the card . It’s on its way back to me that why I got a new psu to see if that helps with my problems.

Oh I thought you had already ordered the msi.

You will have to post a screenshot of afterburner with a benchmark running just so we can all have a quick look see if it all looks ok.
