Aorus/Gigabyte X570 - Buildzoid Ripple tests with AORUS & ASUS

normally would suggest 8+4 pin with 12 cores- but guessing asus and aorus have made their itx strong enough at least for 12 cores!
Single 8 pin eps is enough.
Can supply 250w-ish off the top of my head (can't remember exact figure)
Of course the wire gauge needs to be thick enough not to overheat/burn...lol

think buildzoid said 380w ... well on Gaming X X570 breakdown- but yeah.. hot !
I trust x570 ITXs at least any ways and using the BEST mosfets you get get

Nice looking case - but from a quick glance - that case looks like it was designed to leak noise. :p

However, looks like it was designed with you in mind - is this one of your considerations as your frog-marched towards ITX? :D (Your wife is shrewdly saving you money - perhaps she knows more than she's letting on).

why silent wing 3's were invested ! ah... its going in an ikea desk unit so wont be seen =/

Not been able to check the threads as very busy with all the launches in the next week or two... logged on to check and see if anyone needed help and had 5 alerts... Happy to see it's all you lovely lot chatting about the new boards... So looking forward to seeing what happens later in the year :-)

think 12 core TR was 350w overclocked all cores - again being 14nm not new 7nm

will be interesting

12 core will be fine I think, isn't the 105w TDP for the boost clocks? Maybe I'm not considering other things that contribute. But it is a board I am considering, even though I have already called out X570 on prices.

should be fine, depends what board your after and what use ? preferably if i was going for 12 core in an ATX board would be looking for 8+4 pin - but i do have a multi rail PSU to take better advantage of that config

Just watched Buildzoid again, 408W apparantly, that is assuming it is not a high end one. The board is pretty high end, I applaud Gigabyte for not cheaping out on VRM etc. (Aorus X570 I)

Gigabyte X570 Aorus Xtreme listed for £679.09 on major site

This item will be released on July 7, 2019.

£100 cheaper... Good news ! Well still very expensive but good to hear !

Just a shame no 16 cores to mate it with !

Just had a look, imported ....
Xtreme should be in stock in the UK on the 7th, though don't think a lot of them will be about
