Aorus Master / Extreme (3080+3090) Thread

Sorry to say but these numbers are silly compared to other brands just canceled my order I have 3 options wait to see when one becomes available somewhere, buy a 3070 now keep it until early 2021, and then give it to wife and buy a 3080 then, or wait to see what the AMD situation is like. the second option scores me points with the wife but is more expensive, :) the first option is a crapshoot and the third is a total unknown until reviewers get their hands on them.

P.S. if your behind position 140 you will get at least bumped up one spot this week for 3080 master
 
Managed to get an FE 3080 today, so will be cancelling my Aorus 3080 master order tonight once i get shipping confirmation. Im actually super disappointed with the numbers coming out of Gigabyte. For those wondering - last friday I was 87th in queue.

So was this bought from a scalper then as i'm assuming no one has stock of FE's?
 
I moved 3 spots in the 3080 master queue. I sure hope it was due to cancelations and not the stock that was due in today. 3 cards in 2 weeks is a joke

no worries, I thought so anyway. Well, a little closer for me.

btw, checking on “evil competitors” thread, shipments from gigabyte May have not yet landed this week, or May arrive later today/tomorrow so we’ll see.

According to gigabyte rep we should see some masters coming with this shipment so you may get your card next week, and I am keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I’m way too optimistic and hoping to get that shipment confirmation by next week, although I don’t really see that happening.
Also numbers don’t really adds up, with regards to what gigabyte claims to have sent to OC and what OC have shipped.

this launch has been terrible, I’m not yet keen to go amd but next upgrade I will definitely consider, once I see what will happen with their launch. Overall, pretty disappointing experience. Especially since competitors are receiving larger stocks.
But we are nearly there. Hopefully xD
 
haha just got my e-mail even though I've canceled guess its gonna take a day or 2 to go through but gone from 140-135 so measly 5 places so glad I've canceled, Don't get me wrong unlike many here I don't blame OCUK but gigabytes numbers are beyond stupid for a big company

-Closer is better than nothing at the end of the day with all thats going on xD. Thank you for the infomation hopefully but I'm not going to hold my breath... It will come when it comes to be fair and honestly yeah if you do jump ship to amd, don't think I need to tell you this but wait till people start talking about drivers. (coming from someone who's on amd) xD.

Very true, but even they are at the mercy of nvidia.

Got my email, I'm 8th in queue for an Aorus Master 3080 and haven't moved since 2 weeks ago (when my email said I've gone from 15th -> 8th).

To go from 27th in queue (on 2nd October) to 8th 5 weeks later is a complete joke.

I feel for anyone behind me in the queue. If I was any further back in the queue I'd definitely be trying to grab an AMD 6800XT instead when they get released
