Aorus Master / Extreme (3080+3090) Thread

Please let it be at least 13 3080 masters. It won’t be but it’s nice to trying stay positive. Bought some new upgrades and just waiting for the gpu before mounting everything.

you are brave, I'm not waiting anymore, November is my deadline, if not by the end of the month, I'll cancel and wait for Ti or 4000 series. An probably buy a PS5 while the wait, if I manage to get one either.
 
Not just saying this... the longer this goes on, the more likely I am to cancel, join the AMD queue and save myself 500 quid. It's becoming more appealing by the day! :p

This is NOT aimed at GIGA-MAN BTW, who has done his best to update us... just a general statement of truth.
 
I'm kinda stuck with my order. I pre-ordered with my debit card then was issued a new one and had to deactivate the card I used to place the order so I have no way to receive a refund lol

If the bank is the same it should be fine. Just talk to your bank and they will confirm it.
Also, if OcUK is unable to refund through the original payment method they are legally required to provide other ways to refund, like a bank transfer.
 
One thing I'm not really sure about is how there's SO MANY AORUS 3070s coming in, but still no signs of 3090 AORUS? This card came out a month before the 3070 how can there still be none in OCUK yet these new cards are coming in less than 2 weeks after release? I know the 3090 is a more complicated piece of kit than the 3070 but surely this can't be the only reason right?

EDIT: I mean the Xtreme variant

Fcuk me, hope that isn't the case. By the time these orders are fulfilled most people will have new cards by then :rolleyes: I would be mighty ****** if they didn't refund!!
 
Did everyone here saw that the Godfall will require 12gb GPU ram to run in 4k at the highest quality? The more the things goes on, the more this RTX 3xxx looks like a trap
 
No news on Aorus 3090 Xtreme, nearly six weeks with vague news or reasons to why there have been next to none that have arrived or have been dispatched, no news on any time frame either, yet just over £1700 pounds has left pocket waiting for it, yes i could get a refund but when you have your heart set on something you want to enjoy then why should you, it seems like were just being treated like a qeue number at the moment waiting to be fulfilled instead of a customer, it would be really nice & appreciative for me and all the other 3090 Xtremers to have some kind of update or info don't you think Overclockers....
 
I'm paying 20 quid a month interest on my credit card for thin air after giving this que thing a few weeks if my position doesn't shift in Friday's announcement by a reasonable amount then I'm gonna cancel and just wait either to see if AMD stocks are better or just wait till I can buy one mid next year. sucks because I'm sure like many I have upgraded my machine for cyberpunk and I have i9 9900k 2 TB nvme drives 32gig ram but its being held back by my faithful but ageing Zotac 980ti. the only reason I chose gigabyte this time is i transferred from using rog formula boards to aorus master board
 
Honestly I don't held Gigabyte responsible in this matter, they handled this very well in US, but for the rest of the world where orders were placed before the "official" launch of the cards it was a mess.
The promise of biggest retailer, great partnership and all this stuff made me trust OcUK.
After sales broke this trust, when I cancel my order I'll still be up to purchase a Gigabyte card, probrably not with OcUK (at least not a pre-order). Aorus Xtreme stole my heart even before specs were out.

My only wish is that we had an event like US community.
 
I haven't had any issues with OCUK so I would still prefer to buy from here and I don't blame gigabyte although they do seem to be shipping fewer than other major brands are. I am 140 in the queue for the 3080 master and have moved only 22 places in 3 weeks a good chunk i expect were cancellations , so seem the wait for this card is very extreme I will phone tomorrow and see if any other brands are expected to be available sooner like I noticed msi shipped 100+ cards we need more numbers like that
