Aorus Master / Extreme (3080+3090) Thread

From all the reports I've heard of the Aorus software not working with other forms of RGB software, I'm thinking of selling mine as soon as I get it (I primarily bought it to play Cyberpunk 2077 anyway). My computer has got Corsair ICUE for the fans, Keyboard and the AIO cooler, ASUS Armory Crate for the Motherboard and GPU (currently) and Razer Synapse for my mouse. I'm thinking the Aorus RGB Fusion is gonna hate that.

You would think the industry would work together on compatibility but I can accept I am naïve in thinking that! I have NZXT, Gigabyte and Razer RGB in my system and it seems to work ok together (other than the LCD screen issue). The LCD is the one thing I really like - I'm not a big fan of lots of rainbow flashing effects but it is nice to have a screen in the PC to monitor GPU performance.

Welp, I'm out I managed to grab a 3090 founders edition from (Insert Competitor here) and so far I am happy with it so have 25th place on the Auros 3090 extreme Goodluck!

So anyone waiting on an Aorus 3080 Master (like me) is **** outta luck then I guess
 
I could have bought a 3080 extreme today but at £999 it's not what I'm happy paying.
The Aorus 1080ti extreme shall soldier on for now, what was the launch price on these?

lol im still on the 1080ti but mine was a kingpin. and that was £960 on release. £910 for this Xtreme 3080. which im still without. :( Ques are long)
 
I have heard that there are some pretty large stocks of various 3080 cards arriving mid December, not enough to supply everyone but at least to clear some of the pre-orders. It's a start. Interestingly, demand for 850W power supplies has been so extreme that some are out of stock until April 2021.

I must be so lucky, just got my shipping confirmation for the 3080 Xtreme and I was on position 7 last Friday so they actually must have gotten a few cards in since I don't think someone so far ahead in the queue would cancel.

Don't you hate it when you've been waiting and waiting for your 3080 Xtreme, and been 3rd in the queue for a couple of weeks, then you get the email that it has been dispatched, and you rush into the loft to get the extra cables for your modular power supply, and discover that you have a 750W PSU even though you built it last Christmas and ordered a 850W PSU, and didn't even notice because you were having so much 'fun' with the watercooling and bad bios update?

That happens to everyone right?

Oh look, Corsair 850W sold out everywhere until 2027 it seems.

This new MSI 850 platinium better arrive soon.

Due to pure random F5 luck (and part What-The-Hell stupidity) I ordered a Gigabyte Aorus 3090 Xtreme from an eMerchant on Black Friday, although for certainly not a "discounted" price. Still rebuilding my PC with a new case to fit this monster, and slightly worried what my 750w PSU will think of it's new situation! (1080 -> 3090)

Anyway - just processed my Cancel Order via the OCUK form for my 3080 - so hopefully helps someone out there advance.

(PS - they really should have included an anti-sag device, not a stupid little toy)
 
Was position 23rd at last email...

9th has shipped (at worst), and pos 20 cancelled, so.. 13th at worst now.

Hopefully they will have shipped more than nine cards...
