Hello
Strange but I checked the unit, factory restored it, used it and the screen did not shake or judder.
I have been using it for a few hours and it still was ok.
We are going to be replacing this with a new one anyway as Aorus want to check and inspect all of the units we have sold so far so as soon as the new stock lands we will ship yours.
Regards
Bailey
hey Bailey,
the only thing I did not try was the factory restore but I did not know that it was possible to perform a factory restore on the laptop, I thought it was only possible to reinstall the OS but I didnt waste time since I did try everything, I did try to upgrade all drivers using the Aorus software upgrade application, then I restarted it many times, then I tried to install the nvidia drivers from the nvidia website but it didnt work since the website was "telling me" that I needed to use the Aorus customized ones, so I went again on the Aorus website, tried again, no joy.
I also tried to perform some benchmark with 3dmark, the screen was failing anyway but I wanted to test the gpu, it was giving me results in line with what a 970m can do so i thought it was definitely the screen, also cause this type of issue is very common on laptop screens, I've seen it many time.
The 3dmark website was giving me results saying that the drivers were not "valid drivers" so... this is really strange as well, maybe cause these drivers are Aorus customized?
Anyway I would like to know how did you perform a factory restore, is there any button? or combination of buttons? also would it be possible to re-install clean a windows 10 OS once I will receive the lpatop? if so, how? can I use a pen drive with a copy of win10? where do I find the license then? or maybe this is present on the pen drive that was in the box?
Atom80 contacted me btw, I have replied to him
thanks a lot! please guys keep me posted....
