Yeh, its most probably a dual cortex A9 with SGX543MP4.

The 4S and ipad2 have a dual core A9 with SGX543MP2.

Yeah same, how come they pumped graphics only to quad core, and how is A5X (CPU not GPU) faster than Tegra 3? I wonder what the clock speed is!!

Mainly so you can use it for Facetime and show people what you are talking about, etc.

I doubt anyone uses it for serious picture taking!
