You obviously haven't used it for FaceTime or Skype then

Mainly so you can use it for Facetime and show people what you are talking about, etc.

I doubt anyone uses it for serious picture taking!

To be fair, I don't currently own an iPad, so I wouldn't know how useful it is or not

But I can see the advantage of being able to show someone something over Facetime

Higher end HSPA+ might. If that is the "4G" they are talking about.

I saw someone taking a picture in the street with their iPad once, they looked silly.
