** Apple Media Event - March 7th **

That isn't up to us to decide tho, is it?

Well let me tell you - if I was hiring a professional photographer, and found he was using iPhoto on an iPad to edit my photos - He'd be out of the door so fast the iPad would be stuck in mid-air for a bit like the cartoons :p

Do Apple charge the GBP equivalent of the $ price or is it just a change of currency sign?

It will be the same price as the iPad 2.

Obviously, but this thing is awesome for some quick retouches of holiday pics before bed when on holiday somewhere

I never said they'd use the iPad for final processing. ;)

I'd use it in the field to check if everything is ok. (Having done paid photography myself with my *cough* 18MP 7D :p

Totally agree, it's an awesome little app :D My point was that a 19MP limit isn't going to be a problem for these holiday snaps :)

iPad never ever replace my photo editing i always do it through aperture on my iMac but like Alpherah says it good to have when your on holiday :) Something to toy with while under the brolly on the beach or round the pool yeah that how brave i am ha ha

Software support (especially gaming! :p) will be a big factor in its 'worth' regarding upgrading from a iPad 2. I mean the graphics potential is huge.
