Already got a 6s so not sure the 7 can really be justified this year for me!
Plus I am trying to save money for the (hoped for) new MacBook Pros - whenever they appear.

Will be interested to see what the Apple Watch 2 introduces as love mine in the few months I've had but if it is more responsive it might take my money.

I get the new one every year, just because I can and I don't have any other vices - hopefully the 2nd gen Watch will be worth a punt too this time round (never buy 1st gen). Be interested to see if the rumours about the extra colour options are true.

New rumours suggest Pencil support.

Tim Cook: Well we launched a pencil, not a stylus, first of all, and there’s a big difference, and the things that people are doing with this pencil, I think that Steve would have loved. He loved to help people create. And if you've ever seen what can be created with that pencil on an iPad or an iPhone, it's really unbelievable. You should really show some of these to your audience.

I'm on the Vanilla cycle. Had the original which I sold for the 3G and have since had the 4, 5 and 6.

But I'm torn. I broke my 6 last week which didn't really bother me as I knew I'd be ordering the new model this week but now the more I read about it the more tempted I am to hold off and get the model next year.

Joys of buying the phone outright means contracts aren't an issue but not sure if it is right for what appears, from the leaks at least, to be a small incremental update. But if I do update it'll be from a 64GB 6 to a 64GB 7+

Quite a lot of places online are saying this is more of an S upgrade and Apple are saving the goodies for the anniversary phone next year.

Speculation no doubt but it sounds legit.

So it's nothing more than a guess?

It's not a guess at all, read any Apple news site and look at Apples purchases of companies and parts suppliers for parts. As well as reputable leaks companies telling us what Apple intends to do next year, it's pretty common knowledge that next year, being the iPhone's 10th anniversary will see a big change

In other words it's hearsay and speculation.

No doubt they'll do something nice next year however Apple leaks are very seldom. Most reports I've read are just spins on dodgy Chinese photos with no real substance.

I don't think you realise how these leaks and rumour sites work...long gone are the days of being surprised at Apple events.

I don't think there's been any surprises on Apple products thanks to rumour sites and leaks in the last 5 years. We pretty much have every detail confirmed of an Apple product 6 months before release and we already have a good idea of the next years product a year in advance.

Are you new to Apple products? :p
