Arc Raiders

I think I am now entering a new phase of the game for me. I have so much stuff that I now no longer need to run free loadouts at all, and happily lug around my high end gear that previously I was to nervous to use. it's quite liberating ! also means I can enjoy taking out leapers, bastions and bombadiers a lot easier now.

still not taken out a rocketeer yet but only because I have not come across one whilst tooled up .

next goal I guess will be trying to go for the really big game.. that may reduce my inventory quite rapidly !

if you had 1 quality of life feature you could request to be added what would it be?

me I think I would like the ability to have a small hidden stash which I could leave as a gift for the next lodger in my home after my character goes on and expedition. just a small one , maybe 5 slots which the new tenant stumbles upon possibly after hitting level 20. you could put anything in it but I expect most would put in their most precious top 5 blue prints if so.
it's not that balance breaking imo, after all many people are using a mule, be it a 2nd account or a friend who isn't going on an expedition to do it for them, this is just a much less annoying way of doing it

I got to that stage then they opened up the first expedition thing to reset. I have only just got back to upgrading all benches but I have more BP than I did the first time around. I can see the guys I played with on launch are either not playing as much or they do solo.

Love the game, i started out being a nice guy and getting lots of quests and pve content done then got attacked and really responded and done a lot of pvp then.
But i have to admit [for me] the pvp gets boring after a while and really shows the game started out as s pve game with pvp added in later along the development road.
Ive since gone back to being a good boy again and just chilling in pve where imho the game shines but gets too easy once you can craft good weapons and attachments etc but nonetheless fighting arc is just a lot of fun.

Overall brilliant game in many ways and like the devs have said it will evolve as we go along.

Agree with this but they have buffed the ARC over time they are way more able to attack you in cover and seem to adapt a little that can make them a PITA at times.

On the dead tree at the end of the trench. Always 3 spawn there. I did naked runs to get them and managed almost every time
I was doing this yesterday. Adrenalin shoots all the way across the map. Gotta be quick though

Also I reckon whatever patch they did today might have increased the blueprint spawn rate again, I just went in on Dam (regular) found 3 blueprints in random places within 9 minutes.

Might explain my luck as well. After getting the bettina bp on a night run in blue gate the other day, I logged into dam battlegrounds yesterday afternoon on a day run and the first raider cache i come across had a....

Bettina BP :)

Logged in this morning to catch the last night raid for Dam, picked up a smoke grenade bp, lightweight stock bp AND a wolfpack bp.

yeah I've found 5 new blueprints since that mini update yesterday. definitely a rate change to blueprints. Now upto 63/75 blueprints.

Edit: make that 6 new Bp's.

I keep picking up the osprey bp on spaceport, 3 times out of 10 visits! Always from raider caches.

I must be cursed, 20 hours into the game, and still haven't found a single weapon blueprint :(

Been in PVP hell the last few days ever since I downed a guy who ambushed me at an extract, it's like I've gone from one extreme to another in terms of completely chill / pacifist lobbies vs murdering psycho lobbies!

Just trying to not engage with anyone at the moment to see if it changes back

It does, took me about 5-6 raids.

I in principle agree with putting aggressors with aggressors.... and I accept it's probaby not easy to always know "who started it". however in general I hope that they can tweak this a bit.

a player should not be put in murder hobo hell just because they defended themselves from an attacker imo.

I have one quest in my quest log for days and ive done about 20 raids no luck getting the items i need.
Snap and Salvage quest last two parts i need a Magnetron and a Flow Controller from Stella Montis.
Searched everywhere suggested online but RNG is against me, might just leave it at that now as i hate stella montis.
Are there many more quests after this one?

the flow controller took me a little while as well. I got lucky with the magnatron .
if in doubt do naked runs (not even free loadouts) if you die you die but you still get a safe pocket that way if you find one you definitely get to keep it

Where the hell are the hornets? I can't find any :(
agro a snitch, you will get 2 wasps and a hornet every time
(snitches are the round drones which have a blue beam of light and scan the ground)

failing that hand around the library extract on buried city and there are always patrols there

People are smashing Stella for the parts needed to complete the expedition, and the items required spawn in the same place as what you are looking for.

You need Medical / Business Centre / Assembly - if you don't spawn near them - they will be wiped out within the first 3/4 minutes

There are tons more missions in this game then I thought.

I basically couldnt be arsed to do them before, but figured I would try and get them done, I had done a few before through natural gameplay but not really trying.

Been on it solid for at least the last 20 runs and they are still going. Admittedly this is borring, bring stims, run to whatever, extract, I am looting a little on the way. Its not very time effecient either.

But I guess be good to clear them all off.
