ArcheAge, Ultima Online's rebirth?

On another matter entirely - if anyone wants safe small farm spots in Dahuta then I have 2 in excellent locations if people haven't managed to snag somewhere yet.

im on Dahuta mate, been looking for a place to farm, put my house since release, getting really frustrated to be honest, be awesome if i could get something going. Paying this money as a patron and struggling to get in the game to be honest, I'm stacked at 5000 labour points constantly lol

Ok let me know your ingame name and I'll sort it out for you as long as you're East side!

How do you have two spare small farm spots mate, do you have small farms on there holding the place?

If you do, how do you have more than 1 small farm? Bought off other players after they have placed theirs from the quest? Or is there another way to get them?

Just really want a second small farm!

I have 4 characters on the server 3 x East and 1 x West. I used the West one for trade swaps. All 4 have the farm deeds. ATM I have 3 x Large Farms 2 x Small and 1 x Chalet so there is no need for the 2 x small farms and the tax just makes them prohibitive now we have all the big stuff built. Therefore, they may aswell go to people on here rather than a random person in-game.

I totally failed to realise how important alts would be in this game, I only have the one character on my server and now it is locked so no more can be made.

I really think if it's to stop new players joining those servers and queues increasing that you should be able to still make a character if you have one on the server already!

Me having a few alts on there wouldn't increase the number of players on the server at one time...

I agree I only came into the game late on the pre-release beta but fortunately a lot of people I knew had been playing the Korean and Russian versions so had a good idea what to do ie landrush, make all 4 characters asap, leather armour @ 50 and overachieve on gear quests at max level possible, etc.

Why overachieve only on gear quests?

Just came across a nice tip on the AA forums for getting extra Apex.

The 2 char limit is separate for EU and US so switch to US on Glyph, create a character there and it will gather 5 LP every 5 mins while you leave it offline. Use that LP to mine, sell the ore, make sure you log in each day to get the loyalty tokens, spend it on chests from the store and sell the contents. Once you have enough gold buy Apex and it applies to the whole account so you can use it on your EU characters.

You can overachieve on the others but there are enough quests out there to level to 50 without overachieving then add in crafting and there is not need unless you are doing it for another reason. I would personally recommend it you can as then you can respec for the later zones and then level other skills up easily. So it is desirable but for the gear quests it is pretty much essential.

So the LP on US is seperate from your LP on EU? I assumed being account wide it would share.

Yeah the LP is separate. Still nice as you'll gain 1440 LP per day with that char offline so every few days go spend it mining and with the way the AH is just now that should be enough for roughly 2 free Apex per week.

Why for the gear quests though, does it give you better gear or a chance of better stats?

Any ex UO players still playing this? Honestly dont have time to trawl the entire thread but interested to hear views on this from such people to see how it stacks up against the daddy :)

I am still playing this fervently, it's amazing. Pretty much swallowed up all my free time at the moment, need to reel it back a bit...

I played UO for a short while and loved it, I enjoy this more.

would be more amazing if i could get a ******* farm and house. Might as well not bother with Patron to be honest. bots are ruining this for me by grabbing up everything.

I know it's not always easy if you've already invested a lot of time into a character, but you might want to switch server?

I move my farm around regularly at the moment depending on where I'm spending most my time etc, plenty of land around to do this.

My server is locked for character creation at the moment, but it must be the same on the other newer servers.

Bored already having done pretty much everything in AA since alpha.

Only so much gold i can hoard, pvp is dominated by the east, farming and housing loses its fun factor eventually, dungeons aren't that great and making alts is.......IMPOSSIBLE!

Only thing left really is ganking reds and going to Auroria in patch 1.7

Does your guild have a large naval fleet to go and engage in large scale warfare with the opposite faction?

That's a hell of a lot of fun and we only have 2 galleons at the moment.
