Gigabyte Gaming order at 14.33, just got the out of stock email, thanks for preorder, you're in a queue. I'm happy with that, but thought this information might help others

I'm going to keep my order, I can't imagine thousands keeping their order if they are not coming in until October/November, you could end up moving the queue.

Yeah. I don't get the people that are cancelling to go elsewhere. No where else has stock and the prices just keep going up all over the place. If you want MSRP, you'll need to wait until next year most likely.

If I were to order a 3090 and let's say both were to be delivered at the same time am assuming it wouldn't be a issue to return a card?

Might try my luck at a 3090 next week but don't want to be leave with 2 cards

Just received and update from OC about my order for the Zotac placed at 14.09. Out of stock, in a queue working hard to fulfil etc etc. They must have had not a lot of stock on hand at all.

It was given as if this card had the most in stock between yesterday and more coming today.

Look on the bright side everyone: at least you're in a queue.

I'd much rather be in a queue rather than having to continually refresh a dozen different sites at random times of the day hoping there's stock arrived

At this point I'm glad that I've decided to sit on the sidelines and skip trying to source a 3080 for the time being. My preferred option was for a Founders Edition because I love the design, or EVGA for their support. Once the reviews came out, I realised the performance upgrade wasn't quite what it was made out to be (albeit still incredible for generation to generation), and at 1440p it didn't seem worth moving from a 2070 non-super. Guess I made the right choice, I really wouldn't have wanted to be caught up in this mess :\

I cancelled because honestly its just one less thing out of my head. I dont want a daily/weekly mental check of 'where is my card', you can already see so many horny members on here (a lot of new people) probing for any little glimps of info that can give them some security of getting the card - its just not going to happen.

Id rather cancel, wait till all is stable and take a look again even if thats next year and by then we will know of the TI/Super situation together with AMD's offerings.

As I managed to get my order through on the asus tuf while your website displayed eta 21st of sept does this mean I’ll get one of these that are due in early next week? If not I would need to cancel to free funds to have a pop at the 3090fe

Supposedly EVGA are not that great anymore for support, which is a shame.

Thanks for the update Gibbo but I do not feel it answers the expectations which were given yesterday by yourself.

You strongly indicated that there was already stock for the Zotac 3080 and there was more coming today to service purchases. Your post today seems to indicate that is not the case. In addition, I believe it is only fair that each person who ordered is given an indication of where they are in the waiting list so they can fairly determine whether it is worth waiting it out or not.

I already had my mind set on the Zotac as I liked the look of it and fancied a change from my regular purchases of Gigabyte cards, and after the post yesterday about having some in stock on the day and some more potentially a few days later I smashed my order through and got confirmation at 14:03.

My order has updated somewhat and I've had an email from OC confirming the order however no ETA currently, would be nice to know where I stand in queue even if it's a best guess

Yeah I spent about an hour on the phone but they must be drowning in calls - I did not get through - but I did find out reading posts here on the forums that about 1700 orders for the MSI Trio card happened and someone confirmed around 3pm order time was maybe 600th in the queue. Mine confirmed at 3:18 yesterday after about 5 goes failing to process payment. All MSI cards are confirmed sent out today so no joy - I think I am a sucker for punishment as I am going to do this again for the 3090 next week and if I get one of them (hahahaa no) then i can cancel this order. Its end of October for anyone after 3pm for the MSI Trio card.
Hopefully thats allowed - get a 3090 if I am lucky then cancel this 3080 order.
