@Gibbo I got the ROG Strix NON OC at around 14:50 and I received the out of stock email. I'm not gonna cancel my order, will that keep me in the in the queue ? Any predictions for the ROG Strix NON OC ? :(

ASUS mentioned on a livestream/FB that the OC version will 'probably' be first. Looking around places with ETA dates, early November looks possible right now. I'm in the same boat (almost same time as well!) and itching to get a card for CP2077!

Gigabyte Eagle - 14:33 wondering where I am in the queue
Same here for the exact same card :) I reckon there will be a hefty backlog, possibly stretching 1 or 2 months. What annoyed me is the mention of the 23rd for expected stock as I ordered it - this seems oddly specific and I'm having a hard time determining where it came from after reading comments here..

Right now it's incredibly vague but ocuk must have some idea of delivery schedule, gamers nexus said evga are sending batches of cards every two days, if ocuk know they're getting 100 cards in four days and 120 four days after that they could model it against orders and give people a rough idea of when to expect their cards.

Based on what Gibbo has said today, no, they really don't know what they will be getting at that level of detail.

They do know that there will be very little this month and they do expect there to be larger volume after the first part of October (Golden week) has past.

Beyond that it is all pure speculation which is why the real message is that if you didn't get your order completed in the first few mins yesterday, and you can't get comfortable with the the fact that it may be November before you see your card then it is probably better for all concerned if you just cancel, get a refund and wait.

No way are they going to be able to set up queues and predictions across all the card variants, the accuracy would be so poor as to be meaningless.

I love they way people still think having pre-order without a date is acceptable.

In a logical world, pre-orders should have been taken months ago prior to the release date of 17th of September - Still don't understand why, as I type, Overclockers are still taking further pre-orders - biting off more they can chew springs to mind!
It is full acceptable. In Poland on preorders You never get ETA on pc equipment

Read your original order confirmation email, there are 2 unique reference numbers for your order.

The original confirmation mail says "Order Number: <one on the out of stock email> (Internet Reference: OC<number you're used to looking at>)

Now stop being a moron and learn to read. You haven't been moved anywhere in the queue.

Sticking up for him here as I never received a confirmation email so pipe down a little bit.

I know we are being told that the demand surpassed all expectations, I'm sorry but I just don't think anyone at all buys that - I know I don't. I totally understand that you are at the mercy of Nvidia and the partners but this launch has been a disaster. OCUK just opened the floodgates at 2pm and got as many orders (and money) as they could. There was no prep from an IT perspective or from a customer service perspective. You simply got all the orders in you could and then are now trying to fight the fires that burn.

I've cancelled my order (filled out the form twice due to having 2 different order numbers).

Increasing prices on the day of launch (over what any recent fx change justifies).
Advertising cards as "In stock" at checkout, taking the money but then sending me an out of stock email the next day. (How is this legal?)
Reducing the prices after I've paid.

Complete timewasters along with nvidia.

Bought my zotac rtx 3080 at 14:01 yesterday and received the "out of stock" email.. Its going to be a long wait

Sorry I am late to this thread - did Overclockers actually have any cards in the first place - has anyone actually received one? or is this all just make believe - and who is this Gibbo geezer?

Go on - delete me again!

The blame really lies with Nvidia, having barely any stock in a panic stations launch just to beat AMD to market, again and again this occurs on high end launches, and with the talk of bots being used to scoop inventory it's just going to continue.
