Are you going bald?

Had receeding and thinning hair for years, and that's all it's likely to do judging by my father and grandfather who I take after, while I'd like to have a full head of hair it really doesn't bother me at all as it's a damn sight easier to maintain, not to mention far far cheaper. Oh, and I look ok with a grade 3 all over, lucky.

A number 3.... walk into a barbers up here and ask for a "grade 2, all over please" you'd be getting a few strange looks. :p

Been going bald and receeding for years and what's left of my gingerness is going grey.
I shave it off ever other week.

Do I care? No.
Do I find it odd that people on here spend lots of money on trying to thickening and recovering what was going? Yes :)

Grrr stop saying grade it sounds so gay!! :D

Do you think? I've not had clippers for years but I can't say there was any much difference I could tell. 3 is too fuzzy for me, 1 a bit too much off.

I started losing ym hair awile luckily it shopped and just receded an inch but for the first 1-2 weeks it felt weird and i did not like it etc but then i just got used to it and coul not imagine having it back normal now

I'm 36 with a receding hairline & also going grey but that's the way it is. The way I caned it through my late teens & twenties I'm just grateful to be alive :p

Thankfully its appears to be a slow steady process, but when I start getting an island on my forehead which then departs from the mainland it's all coming off & I'll have it BIC'd all the time :D

As someone who's had long hair / a ponytail all of his adult life, my first reaction on noticing that I'd started thinning around the crown was thus.

I didn't take me long get over it thankfully, it's only hair after all. I'll be looking at a much shorter hairstyle next year I think, I don't think I'd suit Hulk Hogans style :).

For those that do worry about it, try to look at things in a different light. Maybe you think it's part of your identity? I did. But this is a chance to reinvent yourself, a fresh look.

I'm going bald... Made it to 27 whereas my dad and brother were totally gone by their 20th. I'd much rather have a full head of hair, but not worth stressing over it. I just keep lowering the number till it looks half decent, all the way down to a number 1 now... Won't be long before the guard comes off totally!
