Are you going bald?

i've receeded quite a bit and thinning badly on top now. been going since my late teens. (36now) it was already written though as my dads a baldy

i keep it shaved to the bone, every two weeks.
as for bothering me, i'd still like to have a full head of hair I suppose but i don't so I just get on with it. as long as i have my health and all that! ;)

this will upset some people more than others. i've a friend who is pretty gutted by it and he always wears a hat when he can. he was a pretty boy though so i guess he thinks this makes him less attractive?

I started going bald when I was 19/20, i'm 26 now and just get the clippers on it as short as possible. Doesn't bother me a bit, looks better when I get some stubble going too.

I'm surprised I still have the amount of hair I have at almost 50 years of age, my receding hairline I think has stopped! Doesn't really bother me if it all fell out in a short time, It'll save me having to go to the barbers every 8 weeks. :p

I have a receding hairline and i'm starting to thin on top, but I do not have a bald patch. I starting to lose hair at about 18/19 and I'm 31 now so its been falling out at quite a slow pace.

The only thing that bothers me about losing my hair is that in summer my head get incinerated and I wish I could pull off a hairstyle that would prevent this from happening.

Ive got a double cornflick/cowlick whatever you want to call it and I just get the clippers on my hair every week and it makes it look like im receding, but where my crown is it looks like im going bald so I dont know the barber always said I had thick hair so no worries about me going bald guess he may of been lying lol

Nah I'm good so far at 31, sides changed a little since late teens but that's it. I have dark, fine hair but lots of it, quite dense.

Bro has fathers hair, which is lighter and began to recede a little a few years ago then he started taking finasteride and it's all stopped, even regrew a little bit.

For those wondering....finasteride side effects are not worth it. I tried it.
My hair started to go at the front at 18. Now at 26 it is thinning on top.
I do care, but I now go to the gym and have lost weight.

In all honesty, 90% of women do not care about hair. I am not bald, but if I shave my head the top looks bald and the sides don't.

I have lost fat, put on muscle and am 10x more confident.

My hair started to recede at 19 years of age. I'm currently 27 and keep it closely cropped with an electric razor without a guard. I've yet to resort to shaving it off entirely. :p

Not remotely and I am 61 though I can remember a barber telling me that because I had a high forehead or hairline I would be bald by the time I was thirty. My hair is still plentiful. As an aside I underwent radiation therapy for throat cancer and rather than my hair fall out it grew, it seemed, twice as quickly and far thicker and I resorted to a more blond colour than the pre treatment grey.

It resorted to grey some months after treatment end but it still grows very quickly.

Same here! Receded slightly during my late 30s, but hasn't moved or thinned since.

When I started going bald I just had rabbits tattooed all over my head because they look like hares from a distance. Job done.
