Are you going bald?

Going bald is totally natural for men it's to do with testosterone and inherited genetics, the guys with full flowing hair at the age of 40+ have more pheromones than testosterone so they are more like females and retain their hair.

But if you have a full head of hair your woman may fulfill more of your fantasies as she is likely to be attracted to beings which bend towards the female type.

OC this could be total BS but if you are going bald it's a good excuse.

The older you get the less testosterone you produce, going bald it a disease, its a malfuction of your stem cells. Bald people still have hair on there head but the cells are malfuctioning so it does not grow. And this is proven fact now.

Sounds promising, but I assume it will only be an option for those on a Wayne Rooney type salary for at least the first decade?

The price would depand on NW scale, but i heard that for a total nw7 max cost would be between 20k and 35k.i'm sure most men would pay it.

Been going bald and receeding for years and what's left of my gingerness is going grey.
I shave it off ever other week.

Do I care? No.
Do I find it odd that people on here spend lots of money on trying to thickening and recovering what was going? Yes :)

Yes and no. The guy that said he spends £30 a month on it doesnt even compare to the amount most girls spend on makeup a month and they apply that stuff on a daily basis.

Not quite, in that instance it's to do with DHT rather than Testosterone directly.
So it all depends on how much Test your body converts to DHT and how sensitive your hair follicles are to it's effects.
Pheromones have nothing to do with it.

Given a choice I would have course prefer a full and thick head of hair. But mine started falling out back in my early 30's and now most of it has gone. I just clip it myself weekly and it really doesn't bother me. I am who I am and if others think differently because I don't have hair then that's their issue and not mine.

That's not accurate. It has to do with DHT conversion. I've done things to myself where my Test was greatly elevated for months and the only difference I noted with my hair is that I'm certain it got even thicker. Certainly none was lost.

Yup. 25 and receding/going thinner. Don't really know what to do about it yet though. I am trying to work out whether it is going to bother me so much to be worth spending huge amounts of money on those stupids drugs.

36 here and the top has been thin for a long time due to medication but the sides and back are thick which looks odd to me.
Hence once it's grown a bit out come the clippers and number 1 all over which I much prefer.

I also have a goatee which apparently makes me look like one of the guys out of American History X, whilst I haven't watched it, a quick Google suggests this wasn't the image I was aiming for!:p

It's not that I'm trying to hold on to what was left. It's that I've gone from noticeably thinning to barely anything being noticeable at all.

If I was at the point where I was noticeably thinned, and I was just trying to hold onto a little patch of hair, I'd give up.

But being able to spend a bit every month to make it a complete non issue is worth it for me.

Went bald at 20, pretty much Captain Picard by 22. At first it was a big hit to my confidence but not at all now; it has become part of my identity. Having the "right" shaped head for it also helps.

Now I shave my head when I do my face, smooth all over.

Im 38 and been going bald since my late 20's. Dad is as bald as a coot. I usually just shave down to a number 3 BUT I put the wrong sized guard on about 10 mins ago and took it down to a 2, ok not much of a difference but man I nearly had a heart attack when I realized. It actually does bother me as my hair was the one thing about myself that I liked:-(

Baldness doesn't run in my family. My grandad had a full head of hair when he died and my dad still has a full head of hair at the age of 65. My hair is also very thick, although I am beginning to get quite a few greys. I'm 36 tomorrow.

Unfortunately for the past year I have developed patches of Alopecia, especially around the back of my head. Makes me look like a leopard from the back, lol. I'm putting this down to having quite an eventful and stressful year (although I don't really feel that stressed). It is showing signs of beginning to grow back now, thankfully.
