What's everyones settings on this? Seems to be getting terrible FPS

4690K 8GB DDR3 970 4GB

I average 65fps except for in the forest when flying I drop into the 20s. Only on a 7970 but with a 3930k. What settings are you running?

What server you all on ?

There's me, beasty, tonyturbo, richeh, otherside and passey on ours with 2 non OCUK players. (Is Steve on OCUK?) on server EUofficialserver 177.

Or there's icex21 with another 4 or 5 OCUK guys (I don't know who sorry) on this server;

I was first on epic settings but was getting like 22FPS switched to medium and was getting about 40.....

im on medium settings @ 4K on 1 290x. getting about 45fps

I've turned some of the secondary settings down/off and that helped a lot

Could some one on a 970 and 4690k post up a screen shot of your settings

I thought I had a problem with my rig but it seems I'm getting similar performance as others then

What server did you join? If you're looking to join a tribe we need to know otherwise just start farming food and build a base from thatch.

How deep is the crafting? Is it like "here's a stoneage axe" with potential to craft your way to mech warrior fighting bots (ok, a little extreme but you get the point) or it stay fairly basic and is only loot based?

Hello mate.

Join 177, Spawn East. To join a tribe you need to meet the person in game and its done that way. Ask in global chat are any OCUKer's about and am sure someone will be online, may need ask a couple of times as chat can move quick at times and if someone is in the middle of something may not see.

Not that far yet but it's currently here is a stone axe go progress and eventually make an automated gun turret .

I believe they're think of another higher teir.

It would have been nice if they'd scrapped the leveling system and added a skill based system like Ultima, still waiting for that to come back into games

How does that work?

If your skill drops would you lose the ability to build certain things?
