Disabling HT will not affect your overclock at all. Pretty much all games benefit from having HT disabled btw :)

As for the config file being changed back every time, just right click the file, select properties and tick read only, that'll stop it!

Cheers mate, must be doing something wrong as I just done all that even the HT thing and only getting around 30 fps :(

O well at least I can play it :D

wow i diddnt know that. all i know about HT is that it generates more heat when its enabled.

how much of an FPS boost do u get from HT being off? whats the point in having HT in a i7 if it slows down the cpu?

Edit: Is there anyway to reinstall from steam without re-downloading?

Edit 2: oh well here I go again with another 12 hour download ...

Could really do with an Admin at the moment. Got an idiot treating MHQs as his personal transport and TKing anyone who tells him to stop.

Whats his name dude? I can't remote kick anyone but I can add him to the ban list so if you manage to kick him, he wont come back on :)
 
Is there a new patch out?

I have been playing all day today. Loving it. Really getting the hang of it now.

I think the server needs the settings upped now tho as its getting too wasy ;)

I played Human Vs human... wasnt fun at all it was a full on range war with tanks and cobra/hind and snipers... middle of the map was no mans lan(ok may of just been that map but it wasnt easy to do anything at all )
 
Their is a BF2 type pvp mission which is meant to be really good and has the sort of score system that promotes team work ie you can get points for healing people etc just like BF2/project reality.

This game has huge potential and it would be a shame if this clan focuses just on coop/PvE type of games. coop is good for getting use to the game and developing team work and understanding amongst a clan but our team work is best tested against real humans instead of the AI.
