obviously they are not exactly the same but dont you think its a coincidence that they announce it a few hours before April Fools and that the only screen shots are of some helicopter models that already exist in ARMA that they have reskinned to look civilian
if its not an april fools then they have knocked up this game really quickly on the cheap using ARMA II assets
Ok I'm going to step in here.
This is not an April Fool's. I work with VBS2 (that's the military simulation engine that the ARMA series runs off of), so I tend to stay up to date on the market, plus sometimes get to see what ARMA players will be getting whilst they're being released to the military/defense industry.
Whilst this doesn't sound like something I've noticed recently in VBS2, it does fit in perfectly with an upcoming change to the DIS protocol, which will introduce a much more detailed civilian aspect to the protocol. This is exactly the sort of game I would expect to come out of that, and Q4 sounds just about right given the timescales I've been hearing about.![]()

maybe they need to work on timing though - April 1st isnt the best time to announce new things that are a departure from the usual!
