***ArmA 3 Thread***

The AI in 'Adapt' annoyed me during a couple of missions, hopefully it will be better in 'Win'. Going to give it a pop tonight.
 
Actually I was running 2 AI mods that were conflicting with each other, explains why my AT refused to engage an enemy AA vehicle and instead opted to continually switch between his pistol and launcher till I put him out of his misery.

Restarted episode 3 and now about to start the last mission with 0 casualties from my squads!
 
Just managed to get our 3 year old settled and off to bed. Now sat down with a cuppa to fire up Arma 3 and have a pop at the new campaign.
 
First episode was pretty poor in my opinion. The other two have a fair bit of action to them.

Remember to explore around, there are lots of optional side objectives that can help you on later.

Now for some MP!
 
This is probably a really daft question, but would the likes of jsrs/blastcore et al have to be updated to include the new vehicles in the mods?

Yup, they will need to be updated by the authors. I'm sure JSRS and definitely SoS will have a patch soon now it's all on stable.

The guy who makes Blastcore has posted that he is aware of a few issues if you're running it and playing with the new toys. Should be an update soon!

Ta for the heads up. Been messing around with the BECTI file so i had all that stuff disabled for quite some time now to reduce some of the log spam. Even though 90% of my logs consist of errors from stuff i broke...

Always fun when you miss a ";" out isn't it!

You should apply to host the EUTW CTI mission mate. It's probably the best PvP mission Arma 3 has at the minute.

Yup, filter for EUTW and join one of the 3rd person off servers. My haunt is #3. Say goodbye to rubbish Life and zombie mods!

I'm going to jump on there in a few mins actually. Before the niece and nephew turn up and I'm stuck playing plants vs zombies all day!

Ta lads, but will never EVER so no to zombie mods. Mainly cause I am a zombie freak, I even watch all the f-grade movies students seem to pop put every month HA.

Yeah m8, it does look really good, think it is in closed Alpha testing atm. Looking forward to see what Epoch is like as well.

I also enjoy proper Arma a lot as well, hard to find good servers sometimes without people being morons and crashing helis cause they can't fly etc.

You don't really get many idiots like that on the EUTW servers. Especially the ones who can't fly as they are pretty expensive so they tend to buy land based vehicles.

Dont think our crummy little vilayer game server will be able to handle 60 players well :P

If im honest, the EUTW is a right blast every now and then but it feels a tad shallow to me, a bit like KOTH but with multiple 'hills'. Despite its numerous bugs I do like the commanding/RTS elements and all out warfare of BE. Just wish it was a bit more fleshed out in places.
