***ArmA 3 Thread***

Well, I'm fuming! I've been banned from Breaking Point for literally no reason. I don't hack, I never have, never will, and have never used scripts or anything. Logged on for the first time in many months, got killed within 2 mins (no idea where from, died instantly). Spawned back in at a different position, then a few mins later I got kicked and banned for suspicious activity. I've put a support ticket in, but it's non negotiable and they say it's a legitimate ban. What absolute bull, really annoyed about this as I do enjoy the mod. Eurgh.

Oh well, better look for something different! Will only possibly be unbanned when it's out of alpha/beta which could be years.

Have you tried talking to the admins on ts ? I've found them to be reasonable people.
 
Dunno if its been posted yet here, sry if it has.

But i saw this over at pcgamer site just now and looks interesting. It is a building mod for arma 3. Could be quite cool when its finished.

Tho thinking about it it sounds similar to what garys mod for hl2 started out like. Unless im wrong which i probs am. But yeah, imagine if that garys mod developer went on to arma 3 and did something similar for this game all using a special gun. :) I mean a3 is moddable enough for it isnt it.

Odd. Trust me your Steam username or put it on here and I'll add you later this evening when I'm home. Game tonight?

The savegame bug is annoying as hell! It only effects Steam Workshop missions BUT it's affecting a mission from the workshop that I've downloaded manually and put in the correct folder... I don't think missions can delete save games can they?

Pity, because I LOVE the open world campaigns like DUWS.

And drones that spawn 3 soldiers when it spots you, i played for few hours and only found a drone. I was told sappers only spawn when some one dies.
 
Is there a ocuk arma 3 servers peeps play on or another server simular?

Used to play a lot on ocuk arma 2 wastelands server back in the day and had some good times. Was a brilliant server.

Just find myself playing King of the hill these days.
 
I think a few guys from OcUK play on CPCs ARMA 3 Epoch server.


On a related note; if anybody finds a decent Wasteland server (i.e. good fps and not 40 in low gfx...) please let me know!

I've not played too much standard ARMA 3 multiplayer other than EUTW and Epoch, so recommendations for well-performing servers and PvP focused game-modes would be appreciated!

Ah Cheers man. Does epoc require diff files etc to play it? It's not standard arma 3 is it?
