Long way away from being affordable and fully supported in games.. Who'd want to stand up for a few hours playing Arma3 or BF4? Not me.. plus there's too many buttons used in ANY game these days to solely use something like that.. Great for Time Crisis though. Meh.

Anybody playing in 2560x1440p ? What card are you getting and are you able to squeeze out 60fps in ultra on multiplayer?

Obviously I know the performance in multiplayer will depend on various server side factors.

Yeah I'm on 1440p with my sig rig, but I only play Arma 3 Breaking Point which has far better performance anyway.

EDIT: It's more of a DayZ clone if you were unsure. I tend to sit at 60FPS the whole time in Breaking Point until the end of a server restart, or unless I'm in Kavala with a ton of zombies and players.

A did see the 690s have nice performance in A3. I'd be tempted to sell my 780 to get one anyway.

If the video stutters while viewing in 1080p60 turn off "Use hardware acceleration when available" in the Chrome settings.

Anyone have Arma 3 Life mod? Is it easy to get into? As in learning, playing etc.

Life missions are the absolute cesspit of A3 multiplayer. The Life mod is no better as it uses stolen assets/code.

Do yourself a favour and stay away!

Try Breaking Point if you have not already.

Invade and Annex for Coop.
EUTW CTI/BECTI CTI for PvP.

There are events that I take part in most weekends now for PvP missions. They are DTAS and TacBF.

I'd like to get involved with arranged PvP on Arma 3

I'll post in here next time there's one going. The next DTAS event is this Saturday at 1800. It's normally vanilla but this time we're going to try and see how many we can get and play using the AiA Terrain pack.

No doubt it will fail and we will revert back to vanilla.

Edit - There is also a TacBF event this Friday at 1900. Accepted mods will be JSRS/TFR. also, AiA_TP and RHS (RU and US Packs) are MANDATORY!
