***ArmA 3 Thread***

Anyone like to be super kind and send an Alpha invite my way? I haven't played any of the ARMA series so would really like to check it out. jrwagh333 is my Steam name :)

Great thanks, a rough idea is all im after as i know its nowhere near optimised yet :)

This is what the game is auto detecting at with my GTX660

runs about 30fps at that although it dips into the late 20's quite often. I'd imaging tweaking the settings will gain over 30+ fps so at 1080p it may even be better. Thats running on a GTX660 and a [email protected].

I'm running it pretty much maxed out bar post-processing and AA x 2 and getting 30-40 FPS on a 570 with a 2500k. I am pretty shocked at how well it runs.

I was hopeless with being able to find any decent arma 2 servers, If I get the alpha (how does paying for an alpha work btw?) Is it relatively easy to get involved online, I loved the Arma 2/OPF SP and would love to play online.

I'm running most things on high/medium, no post processing and AA x2 on my GTX 580 with 2500k and getting around 25-30 fps :(

@ 2560x1400 though.

Is it possible to get an invite please - Will give it a try before buying.

Does the £20 alpha version give access to the full game I take it?

So nice to finally play an arma game without the clunky movement. Just had an epic 'Escape from Stratis' with 7 randoms... we survived like commandos for about an hour until we all huddled around a weapons crate in a camp we had just cleared and someone accidently threw a grenade and got all of us D:

Nice of him to give you a heads up :p

How to install ArmA 3 on a RAMDisk

Important notes

• Recommended System Memory - 10-12GB+
• ArmA 3 must already be installed on one of your HDD's

----

I made a RAMDisk tutorial yesterday but I missed a few important steps which caused the game to delete upon unmounting the RAMDisk. Sorry if it effected you after watching that video.
