Armored Core VI - Fires of Rubicon

Loving this game, it's everything I'd hoped for!
Game engine is very slick, perf mode silky smooth and even quality mode is very playable, and looks incredible.
Some Souls-esque boss difficulty, but the later bosses, while hard, are made easier from using different weapons and the game throws enough money at you to experiment without much grinding.
There's NG+ and multiple endings, so plenty of time to have fun with different builds. Loads of depth to the builds in terms of stats and multiplayer too.
From knocks it out of the park again, BOOM :D

(I've been mainly using a shotgun/grenade launcher and dual missile build on standard leg type, gives lots of firepower without being too heavy or slow, only switched it around for the 2nd boss due to the pulse shield)

Can't wait for BG3, only few more days til preload, got a new TV coming too few days before

I have BG3 on pre order on ps5 - with bg3, ac6, starfield, Lies of P, wayfinder and Lords of the Fallen I should be fine gaming wise until the New Year
I'm looking forward to lords of the fallen, but lies of P I'm unsure of, I tried the demo and didn't really think lot of it, thankfully it's getting physical release so might still try it, at worst I'll lose few quid

I've been thinking of ordering a used series X off rainforest to play starfield and then I'd probably just return it, since there's not really anything else on Xbox I'd be interested in at moment, I enjoy my RPG's and Playstation style games more then racing and FPS

Also I finally beat ******* spider boss last night, I tried the tank Gatling gun method others have used and couldn't get it to work, the DPS was insane but movement was horrible, went back to my plasma build, put all my tuning into dmg output and changed my plasma missile launchers to big plasma rifles pretty much and that seemed to work well, still took few tries

Just in case some of you don't browse the PC version of this thread, I'll repost this here

From what I've read online, it seems this game is similar to Nier automata, in that to get the full experience you need to complete the game multiple times. For those who don't know, in Nier Automata you needed to complete the game 5 times to get the true ending.

Some more info on this, that I've just seen on reddit about the second and third playthrough

NG+ introduces:

  • New missions
  • New decisions in old missions
  • Some old missions have new additions
  • New story elements to go with the missions
  • New rewards
  • New arena opponents
  • New bosses
The 3rd playthrough is especially spiced up and a must play. I don't wish to go into details, but there are significant story changes/additions.

Yeah I'd heard about multiple playthoughs cause if your going for the plat/100% then you gotta remember which missions you did for each playthough iirc

Well done on beating the spider that boss was no joke. I'm looking forward to having levelled up parts and going back to tear him down to size. The toughest part with the tank was staying close to him to make avoiding his attacks easier.

I've hit a tough mission in my playthrough (eliminate enforcement squads). I was a bit tired last night so I farmed the tester ac and enter the dam complex missions to buy as many parts as possible. My aim is to buy all the shop parts so if I die to a boss I can go into assembly and have all build options available.

The game's really addictive, the first mission left me feeling like it was going to be just good but I'm only after Juggernaut and getting into builds and replaying missions for ranks/currency combined with how good the gameplay feels has already hooked me.
