US: Arrow - Season 3

I'm abit perplexed as to how Olly has actually survived. I'm pretty sure I saw him get kicked off the side of a giant mountain with a sword hole in his torso...
 
I was a bit confused as to why Oliver had a bandage around his midriff but there was a distinct lack of a massive hole in his chest where he got stabbed, or any bandage covering where it should have been?
 
Arrow has really disappointed me this last few eps, surely Oliver would just be a smear of the side of that mountain after a 500+ft drop!??

It's gone from being unbelievable to complete ******** :D
 
They really need to just say Ollie survived thanks to a Lazarus pit or mirakuru, hiding behind this "the snow stopped you from bleeding out and your will to live is why you survived" bs is more implausible than just saying "**** it, magic"

Yep, completely agree. They've already introduced miracle drugs in the form of Mirakuru and superpowers via the crossover with the Flash, so it's not that much of a leap to explain that Oliver survived due to the Lazarus pits. It makes more sense than the current explanation, which is really lame and a bit of a cop-out. Plus they already hinted at Lazarus pits when Ra's said that it had been 60 years since someone challenged him.
 
Sort of. When she was first revealed I believe the line was "I brought her so she can bring you back to life" and then next episode it turned into giving him penicillin and saying the cold stopped him bleeding out.
 
Yeah I feel it's been a bit of a damp squib after the mid season ending. They kind of wimped out of giving us a real reason and now we just have episodes of him sitting in a log cabin. Get on with it.
 
That was a weird one. Good in places, comical in others.

From next week it will get back to normal (hopefully).

The good thing is......

Agreed. He pops up in everything lately and the only reason I can think of is the gravelly 'landan' accent makes him seem extra menacing to the yanks.
 
They still haven't adequately explained how she brought him back to life. The guy was brain dead for hours, possibly days, never mind the fall without a scratch. Poor, poor writing.
 
There was an interview a while back where they said the Lazarus Pit would not play a part in the show. I'm guessing they are trying to work around that statement so it's implied without committing.
