Arsene Wenger: Arsenal boss to leave club at end of season

I'd love to see these posts jonney. Did this all happen when you were sleeping?
Nope it happened here . Maybe you was sleeping? Did you also skip all the Chelsea and united fans calling for there past managers heads too?

So I ask again Why is it fine for other supporters wanting there managers out and not arsenal ?

"It's important to me that we continue the football values that Arsene Wenger has instilled - somebody who can continue that for our fans - progressive, exciting football that gets people interested and excited in games we play.

"Another significant piece is how the candidate represents the club. We want to make sure we don't lose those qualities and those values.

"Another value is our young players - our academy teams are doing extremely well and under the radar lots of players coming into our first team"

About the only thing of note from Gazidis press conference.

I'd love to see these posts jonney. And who's said it's fine for one set of supporters but not another? I just think you're making the Klopp comments up.

If I come across it I'll quote you. There wasn't a dedicated thread about it. Just mentioned in one of the weekly football fixtures thread when Liverpool lost again and some pool fans wanting him gone.

I think neutrals like you wanted wenger to stay forever as you knew for a fact that with him at arsenal, thats one less team you dont have to worry about if your team is wanting to challenge for top trophies.

Arsene Wenger gone is like us winning the title. a lot of arsenal fans are celebrating him announcing this.

Amazing stuff and if the roles where reversed, you would want wenger or <insert any similar manager> to be gone within a few seasons of deja vu. We've had over 10 years of this

You'll just never understand what it takes to guide a club/business at the very top with such consistency.

Long overdue, he tarnished his legacy but did great things a long time ago.
No he hasn’t tarnished his legacy, his legacy consists of the invincible season, winning 7 FA cups and probably the most important part is helping to build us a state of the art stadium and still managing to finish 4th even though we sold most of out best players.

That’s his ultimate legacy.

As much as this day had to come and probably sooner than now. It's gonna be a sad day when he leaves.

Also I reckon Arsenal have timed it like this to galvanise the team against Athletico, reach the final and win it for Wenger.
