Heres my Intel X25 - V 40Gb, Latest Firmware and using MS's AHCI drivers, recently bought from the members market for £80, 20gb used for win7 64bit and all my Apps, 17gb free space.

Alignment is off a bit, apparently (82944 is exactly divisable by 4 though? ... ), but still quick. 4k writes could be better, but this is a completly used state, so as bad as it's going to get.

How come you're not using the latest rapid storage drivers? it should be listed as iaStor not iaStorV.

Should be on RST, that's what I was using a few weeks ago before adding the second drive.
Perhaps this is the RAID specific driver?

The driver downloadable from here seems to use the same iaStor.sys driver for both ACHI and RAID, I'd make sure you are actually using the RST driver.

Here's my newly purchased 64G Crucial:

Lower sequential speeds than higher capacity drives, but the 4K stuff is up there, which I believe to be more important on an OS and essential everyday programmes drive.
Using the latest Intel RST driver has boosted my score by a couple of points overall. Absolutely not noticeable in day to day use though.
