Asking someone where they are from

Jono over analysing the conversation recalled from memory again...

Meanwhile, watch the short clip in this article where she recalls the conversation:

Lady SH's claimed sentences in that interview are:

Lady SH "where are you from"
NF: "sistah space"
SH: "where are you from"
NF: "well we're based in Hackney"
SH: "No, where are *you* from"
...
SH: "No, where are you really from"

And then she says: "and this question was asked about 7 or 8 times." She doesn't know *exactly* how many times it was asked as she's a normal human being who doesn't have a photographic memory...

Original claimed conversation/"transcript"

Can you really not see that she's simply recalling the gist of the conversation, she's claiming some questions along those lines were repeated and roughly what she answered, she's recalling the initial few lines of conversation on daytime TV and it's not the same as the "transcript" people are referring to.

This should have been a totally obvious point to follow when it was made earlier, the exact wording isn't particularly important and we'll never know what it was unless someone had a recording device.

Ah back to the not trusting the transcript again.

You're circling the hole.

And the point that has been made is that although the question was answered, the question can mean different things given the context. Definitely it should have been phrased better to maybe remove the need for context (from what I understand of what was said) but if someone provides you with information, but it was not the information you were trying to find out (which is different to not believing the answer), it seems reasonable to ask again. Again, it really should have been asked better, if not the first time it should have been phrased better in the following questions.

You mean like interrogation?

How can you phrase 'where are you really from' better to someone that is really from the UK?

What part of Africa are you from?

SHE WAS WEARING TRADITIONAL AFRICAN CLOTHES LOL

Can you define traditional African clothing (the clothing still isnt relevant, but it will ammuse me greatly seeing you try to show me how what she was wearing was "traditional" African clothing, rather than possibly African influenced)?

Love this btw, showing an interest in someone is the same as interrogation. You must be a blast at parties.
Thats rather silly isnt it? Are you saying she should have said. I notice you are black what part of africa are you really from?
I personally think that comment says more about you than anyone else. If you're making things up and that's what you come up with...

You and others are literally making things up to suit your opinion. When you read what had actually been said you said oh I hadnt read that and made a vague yeah thats not good remark. Now you are fully back to its the black womans fault.

Wherever the outfit she was wearing at the palace represented she should be wearing a milk maid's outfit now.

Yes, I've made up some examples to show my point.

 what do you think actually happened? The white lady did a Roy Chubby Brown monologue or something?

That is literally how the encounter plays out in his head.
I also think there's the Benny Hill variation for his other favourite -ism.
