ASROCK 6900 XT NOW ONLY £689.99 (£649.99 FOR LOYAL FORUM MEMBERS)

How is the card for noise?

Im so picky when it comes to fan noise, any feedback from those who purchased?
Very livable, it will coil whine on stupid high FPS but it's not obnoxious.
If you need silence at night use headphones if you are pushing 400+ FPS.

The fans don't get overly loud in normal gaming.

@Axeboy Mine is ok - no coil whine at all and I'm really picky too

Fans are great and temps are very good so you can keep the fan speeds down generally. A little coil whine now and again but nothing to bad even when its pumping out 110fps in RRD2 on max settings.

A worthy upgrade from the RTX2070 gaming at 1440 do you think? (coupled with i5-13600k, see my sig).
Just bought a Dell 34" curved WQHD freesync premium screen so thought AMD might be the better choice as the 3080 is still a crazy price.
What do you guys think?

I did a very similar upgrade, an RX 5700 XT to one of these ASRock RX 6900 XT's. Very happy so far, I also game at 1440p, although not ultra wide. This is my first ASRock product and I'm plesantly surprised by it.
