Assange to go!

Did I miss the bit where all the evidence in a proposed prosecution should be shared with random people on the internet prior to any trial that may take place?

No, so how does Dolph know he is a sexual predator?

The whole situation is a mess, without going back and quoting everything, from what you have posted I agree with your sentiments on the issue broadly speaking.

Obv these fake charges came back after wiki-leakes exposed these tyranny loving putrid parasites !! Hope he gets to Ecuador. RT.com he has made a speech from the windows of the Embassy that has been threatened by the mafia < mafia government that is >

How do people know the Americans are out to extradite assange or that the charges are made up?

what's good for one side is good for the rest...

Care to explain what the bloke has achieved or changed. Informed the world about what they already knew ... well I am sure that was well worth all the suffering that has been caused.

Why won't Sweden do an interview with Assange via Teleconference?

Why won't Sweden do an interview with Assange in person in the UK?

Why won't Sweden give assurances to Assange and the Equidorian government that they won't extradite him to the United States if he goes to Sweden for an interview?

Here's a reason: They don't want to interview him at all. After all, they already did interview him, and the first prosecutor threw out the accusation.

Care to explain what suffering has been caused? Also the whole point of the info that wikileaks released, was that we either didn't know or didn't have evidence.

I see now I was wasting my time trying to have an intelligent debate with you.

You still haven't answered how you know he is a sexual predator.

Whatever label people choose to stick on him (I wouldn't bother with that one myself) he has questions to answer in Sweden and I don't believe minimising his crimes into nothing actually does him any favours..it makes you and others defending him look like an apologist for allegations of sexual offences. It really appears as if you want to make the offences look like nothing and Assange look completely innocent..if he is then great, go to Sweden, answer the questions, face any charges then as in your view and the view of people defending him, he won't be found guilty in a million years anyway.

As a result he can freely and happily go to Sweden. He can leave the Embassy and get on a plane this afternoon.

Assange is however little more than a hypocrite, seeking refuge in the Embassy of a Government with a horrible human rights record has exposed him as someone who doesn't want to do the right thing when his own skin is at stake. It calls into question his motivation in starting Wikileaks in the first place..this is a Government he should be exposing, if he was all that he says he is, not endorsing. I think he has damaged his reputation more by his actions in seeking this ludicrous asylum (in a country with no extradition agreement with..Sweden) than by anything else he could have done.

Oh... lord.

So posters in this thread can post all manner of unproven twaddle in support of assange without justification, but those who don't by into the conspiracy have to justify everything?

I don't 'know' he is a sexual predator, just as nobody in this thread knows that he is innocent, that the allegations are made up, that the usa and Sweden are planning something or anything else. That is why due process should be followed and this ridiculous situation ended.

+1.

Live by the sword, die by the sword.

I completely concur with Collider. Assange is doing more damage to wiki leaks and his reputation than all the Govenments he criticises put together.

What is wrong with Ecuadors human rights record? They could treat the indigenous people better but the same can be said for Australia but you wouldn't have a go at them would you?
