Assange to go!

He's been in there for 6 years now, someone sentenced to a 12 year stretch in prison would be out now with good behaviour!

He must be terrified of what the US has in store for him but that's what happens when you mess with a superpower.

I'd have taken my chances, dyed my hair black and left the embassy dressed as a chauffeur or something.

Precedents abound at the moment for traitors. President Trump is probably in talks with the CIA about available nerve agents as I type :)

The cost to the UK tax payer has been horrendous, I hope I see value for money and a swift conclusion.

Throw him to the dogs. I thought he was cool years ago when he first started doing wikileaks stuff but when he started influencing elections and turning everyone against Hilary Clinton, etc. He's a dick.

He's not, because the US has nothing in store for him. There are no US indictments for his arrest, he's committed no crimes under US law, and the US has never requested his extradition.

This whole thing is just a dog and pony show to convince his adoring neckbearded fans that he's still relevant. He is entered the embassy freely, and could have left freely at any time. He's only in there to maintain his fake victim status.

well he could leave freely and be arrested moments later at any time

I don't think you can state the US has nothing in store for him either, the apparent lack of current indictments doesn't mean that they don't intend to arrest him.

I suspect the Ecuadorians are probably getting a bit fed up of him squatting in their embassy.

I suspect so, they're probably not too happy if Wikileaks upsets some countries they're particularly friendly with, bit silly of them to let him in in the first place, he should have been arrested and sent to Sweden. Harbouring an (at the time) alleged rapist is pretty dubious.

Yes, he could leave freely be arrested by the British police for jumping bail. A trivial matter that could be all over within hours. The bottom line is that he's not being detained, and he has no basis for claiming he fears arrest by US authorities. He's a chronic liar, and an incorrigible attention whore.

the apparent lack of current indictments doesn't mean that they don't intend to arrest him.

Actually that is what it means. Also the lack of an extradition request, and the fact that he hasn't broken any US laws.

Lol, so? What makes it right that the Koch Brothers can do similar things and be totally ignored? I guess as long as you're a "national" you can meddle in your own elections, probably why the Tories enjoy their champagne lately.

A timeline of Wikileaks' secret collusion with the Trump campaign, complete with the lies they told the public to conceal their true activities.

I think the most pathetic part is where Assange grovels for an ambassador position and literally tells the Trump team how to announce it.

I don't think the idea that assange and wiki leaks was not impartial surprises anyone really, although it's definitely interesting to see what they were doing behind the scenes whilst playing the "we're honest truth seekers with no agenda being pursued by the forces of evil" line.
