Controller or Keyboard and mouse for this one?
Well I used a 360 gamepad and it played perfectly fine, aiming was a little slower however as the game was more jumping, running etc the gamepad was better suited IMO.

Yeah, controller suits the game more.
I have just got to New York, enjoying it so far. I must admit, I have been skipping nearly every cutscene though. The story is painfully dull and stupid and I'm glad I have only played AC2 because it's basically the same game. I would have got bored by now if I had played brotherhood and revelations.
Anyone else having trouble playing the Tyranny of George Washington DLC? It's shown up on my options list (I have the Deluxe version with the season pass) but when I try and play, it tells me content is unavailable and to check my Uplay gamepage. It's not listed there.
Edit.
Appears it's a fault with the place I got it from. Greenman Gaming. Unresolved...
I picked up AC3 in the Steam deal yesterday... does it get better; about 90minutes in and I am BORED to tears, every 2 steps is another cut scene, I am using a 360pad but movement feels clunky; the main guy just grates on me :/
I've played all the others and enjoyed them but this feels so different, I had to turn it off; does it get better - should I battle through a bit more for it to open up?

The main Desmond story though ....My word! What a load of nonsense!
I really love the AC games, but the series does need a refresh tbh. I don't know if the French Revolution is out of the question as a setting?....I doubt they will go back in time. A Paris/London early 19th century setting would be perfect imo.
