Assassins Creed Brotherhood PC release dates (UK: March 18th)

Anybody understand how the investments system works? The in-game manual is a bit lacking in that.

Quite simple you buy something and you get that resource and randomly an income from that resource. So if you buy a stables you get to use the horses from it and also get some coins every x minutes.

The one thing that's putting me off this game is the combat is awful. It's similar to Batmans in that you can jump from one guy to the other but it doesn't work as well.

Oh I get that, but there's the actual 'investments' option, where you can choose to invest money at a risk in order to get more money and quests or something.

You get a return on your investment, but also gain access to stores / gear / stuff in the new area.

That looks a heck of a lot better on PC btw.

When the invest screen is up the low value is what you get if the investment fails (thats where the different values of risk come into play). The high value is what you get if the investment succeeds. Its not uncommon for investments with no risk to actually lose money, you still get the item bonuses whatever happens whenever you invest x amount of money into a store.

High risk investments can return 5 times what you pay into them.

Explanation probably isnt brilliant but I'm posting on my phone

I think I see now. The bank i'm investing in costs 1980f with a return of 1755f (No seperate figure like the blacksmith), and it's a safe investment so I 100% get that back.

Are the rewards at the bottom seperate from that? Between the 4 items I will earn an extra 4655 on top of my return on investment? That correct?

And is that money just paid straight to my bank vault or whatever it is where I collect it?

Everything maxed including 8xMSAA

i am also playing this at the moment. simply awesome.

add me: wuyanxu2000.

problem i have when i tried multiplayer on Saturday is the amount of time i had to wait to get into a lobby. sometimes up to 5 minutes!

Anyone else finding the combat infuriatingly difficult? Come up against two of those heavy armour guys/pike guys and you're auto-screwed.

Wonder why this isn't getting more interest as its fantastic :) Guess the first one might have put people off as it was so dull, but the last 2 have been great.

I'm loving the online aspect of this one, I imagine it would be a laugh if you played it with a group of people you know.

Against the heavy armour guards just kick them and then hit with weapon, against the guards that always dodge just counter.

As said very good game, I've just finished Leonardo's weapons missions, a few were frustrating but got them in the end :)
