Assassins Creed Brotherhood PC release dates (UK: March 18th)

I love the multiplayer. I've not played something as fun or unique in a long time.

One example
one team are the assassins the others are targets. The targets have to basically hide and act like NPCs and blend in with the crowd. The assassins to some extent do also so you can't tell who is an assassin and who is a NPC. The assassins get a radar which gives the rough direction/location of the target so you could be standing in a group of targets hiding and the assassin might kill the wrong target this disabled him from attacking for 10 seconds then you can knock them down and stun them give it toes and live.

You can get perks like disguise yourself as a different char, smoke bombs, run faster etc.

It's a lot of fun. Much better with a xbox controller imo.

This, and the SP is bloody awesome.

DRM or not, must buy.

Didn't someone earlier in this thread say it hasn't got the DRM?

I did, it doesn't. It says you lose the extra content when playing offline but i can still play the davinci disappearance and christina memories

Theres no online check every time you play the game, just an online check when you install it which every game has nowadays.

As chk4 has said, xbox controller is a must for this game. Theres no need for the accuracy a mouse gives anyway.

The combo kills you can rack up on this game are insane (where you kill someone with a ranged weapon and a melee weapon simultaneously). I think i must have killed 20 people in about 30 seconds at one point.

I've not ran into any issues with the DRM yet. I'm loving the multiplayer even though I'm unsure what to do when I see the red triangle on there head. It's sort of before it tells you to run.

Also, you know when they attack you and it tells you to stun them, can you just bash B (xbox pad) or do you have to time it?

I'd be interested in some online play if anybody else is up for it :)

Username is Marcy921 if you fancy it.

Anyone playing this on a 4870x2? I seem to be getting pretty rubbish FPS on max settings 1920x1080 with 4x AA, probably 30ish with it dropping down to the 20's in a busy area. Even when I turn the graphics settings down to the minimum graphics settings there is not much difference. (v-sync off and tried both 11.1/11.2 drivers)

*edit - everything set on minimum no AA gets me a 45fps average according to fraps while everything on max with 8x AA gets me a 39fps average*

8x AA? That's a bit overkill ain't it matey?

I've got everything maxed out with 2x AA on 1680 * 1050 and it looks stunning and plays beautifully. Using a Q6600 rig with a 6870. I recorded some online footage earlier, just as a test and it seemed to be perfectly playable. I'll link it when It's uploaded, it's basically me getting raped on one of the new game modes :D

Don't think Brotherhood supports crossfire atm, going by the link below, so you're effectively running it on a single 4870 atm :

Try the RadeonPro fix listed in the 2nd post in that link. Should hopefully work until ATi release updated Catalyst Application Profiles with a fix for AC2-B.

Or, if you can, rename ACBSP.exe to AssassinsCreedIIGame.exe and it should use the AC2 crossfire profile if you have the ATi CAP's installed.

gief screenies.

anybody got any screenshots of the game at max settings? :) i played it on ps3 and loved the game but if it looks a lot better then ill get it again on pc
