Assassins Creed Brotherhood PC release dates (UK: March 18th)

Never played an AC game yet but always been intrigued by them. Brotherhood seems to be getting some considerably high scores (as long as they are unbiased reviews), which is a great sign. Shogun 2 is going to keep me going for a long time though!

Nothing is unbiased, but it is a very good game.

I think I see now. The bank i'm investing in costs 1980f with a return of 1755f (No seperate figure like the blacksmith), and it's a safe investment so I 100% get that back.

Are the rewards at the bottom seperate from that? Between the 4 items I will earn an extra 4655 on top of my return on investment? That correct?

And is that money just paid straight to my bank vault or whatever it is where I collect it?

The item rewards occur when you invest 5000 or 10000 at that particular store, when you invest over that amount you get the item listed next to it as your reward. It tells you in brackets how much you have invested at that store so far, but there is no extra money awarded or anything like that.

The last reward for investing a 1,000,000 is tied to all stores of that type
eg: all blacksmith stores, all art stores etc...
Ive still not invested over 50,000 in any particular type of store yet so im way off getting a shrunken head.

The money is paid into your bank account.

The investment you listed is losing you money, but yeah, you will definately get the 1755f as a return

So annoyed, played the game for hours, steam was on my external... Had to format lost my saves. Don't know if I CBA anymore.

Uplay should have synced your save files.

completed it last night :D puzzling ending.... hum.

to counter brutes, just call your assassins, or counter-kill another guard, and keep tapping attack, they'll get executed due to the killstreak system.

multiplayer is where the game is at :D stun, stun and more stun

So I can just sell all those other items i've been collecting?

So I can just sell all those other items i've been collecting?

Yes, provided you dont need them for quests later on.

Off the top of my head, dont sell:
silk
cardinals purple dye
shrunken heads(ive only ever found one and need another to finish off a quest)
There are a lot more items that are needed for item collection quests, it should be easy enough to look up on the internet, i can't do it from where i am as a lot of sites are blocked.

The vendors that have item collection quests available look different on the map(they have a white border surrounding the icon)

You dont really need money in the game(you're swimming in it later on), so i would keep everything to be on the safe side untill you know for sure

The vendors that offer quests are all on your home island. May as well hold onto everything though, as has been said you are never short of a bob or two. If you are, go buy some maps from the art merchants and collect some chests.

Anybody understand how the investments system works? The in-game manual is a bit lacking in that.

This seems to be new in either the patched console versions or the PC version, it was never there in the released PS3 version. It's an extra bit of metagame that links up with other people playing. As far as I can see, it's mainly a way to buy some crafting materials you may have missed or never dropped.

Shrunken Head is only in 2 places: a chest box near the cliff outside of the build-up area. other is in one of the quest for the key to unbreakable armour, the quest is one of those unlocked last.

all other items can be looted on the rival thieves. i find best mission to do it is 2nd mission on the DNA chain, one where you get to beat up a lot of them. beat one up, loot him then beat the next one up. as long as you don't beat up the last few, and they are kept busy by your friends, you can loot all day.

Interesting mate, when I logged in my uplay account and clicked single player I didn't have to option to continue only create a new game.

I'll have a look again tonight.
the ubisoft launcher did sync every time i launched HAWX2. pretty annoying but it's doing it.

but this new interface doesn't show it's syncing. pretty sure this feature should still be there.
