Caved in, slightly bothered by the DRM reports. I hope my 4790k will still cope.
Thanks, have a old Thrustmaster keyboard plugged in so did remove it but alas, no luck. Still nothing happening at the fight. Just before on loading screen I can use the Q and E to switch through game tips (forgot to mention that above) so it seem conected but...Have you go t any controllers plugged in, I had to unplug my pedals to get to show hints and dare I say it my Xbox game pad.

I do appreciate your quick response !
I've had experiences like this with games, I know it might seem extreme but remove (including software) all input devices here in device manager. Stuff like keyboard and mice might need to replugged in after you've done this. But might be some old drivers of an xinput device causing mayhem.

Well, in worse case I try but I'm useless with gamepad, only game I used it for is Sonic and All Star Racing. All other games I played always been Keyboard and Mouse so if possible want to use that. Hopefully it can be sorted.Have you tried plugging a game pad in to see if that works?
In all honesty, these games are designed for game pads and I feel a lot more relaxed using one.
Before I start doing this I just want to confiem. You mean right click and then uninstall on everything under Human Interface Devices ?? Then maybe only hvae to unplug and replug keyboard and mouse so they working again ?
Thank you, I start doing this then. There is 30 lines under that category so might be the problem.Correct, anything from Win 7 onwards should auto install the necessary drivers of devices plugged back in. Right click, uninstall device, you don't HAVE to select delete software (not all will have the option), but it might help, just be ready to unplug and plug your mouse/keyboard back in as you'll likely remove them from that list. No perm damage can be done doing this.

Just been looking at prices, cdkey's steam etc, then read about the drm,as much as i was looking to get this tonight,i'm afraid it's a no buy for me.
I've not assassinated anyone yet either so maybe that explains it, that's a bit naff if you can't use it any other time
