Would let it just fully install and see how it goes. Get limited options while its still installing if I recall correctly.

Well, if I was in Egypt, I wouldn't bother playing the game, I'd just wander about and experience the real thing!

I'm liking the Phylake battles. I managed to take down the level 38 one at level 31, but it took about 30mins. Got a lovely bow though, which I can't use...

Worth doing the phylakes quest, best outfit reward imo

Still need to do the Hippodrome and second tier of arena. Arena is really good for getting in the swing of combat proper.

Did the Hippodrome last night the elite ones started to get frustrating towards the end but got both mount rewards. Good how it didn't level lock the elite stuff out until 40.

Likewise. I was clearing out a camp / base the other day and heard the horn go off. Next thing I know, I'm being chased around by a level 40 Phylake. Great stuff

Ran round and got all the star chart things done, need to go loot some tombs to get 20 more mats for the outfit.

Game is now fully downloaded.
I am still having the same crash within the first Tomb/ Pyramid after the battle tutorial. Barely a hundred metres or so away from the hidden panel entrance at the very start.

The game has the most minor of stutters then crashes to desktop. I'm reinstalling the latest Nvidia drivers now. But I am now getting a bit miffed that I can't play this. Any suggestions for troubleshooting? I've had a look online and cannot find anyone else with a similar enough issue.

My crash happens at exactly the same point each time.

Uninstalled Uplay
Reinstalled Nvidia drivers...

Did the A gift from the gods quest last night after not seeing anything online about it and was I in for a shock when the cutscene kicked in, not sure if I'll use the items though as they don't really fit into the game right.

Yeah I'm not using the weapons, feels a bit out of place.

The black armour from the Phylakes quest line, and the black camel that I think was a deluxe bonus?

The Anubis set is pretty cool but I would like to be able to turn off the flames...

Yeah heard a while back that the Gift from the Gods final fantasy crossover was coming. Apparently final fantasy had an Assassins Creed crossover quest or something, dont know, not a final fantasy player. Decided back then that I wouldnt bother with it in ACO as Im not interested in Final Fantasy anyway.

Ahhh is that what it was. Was sitting there thinking WTF is going on when cutscene played. God Trials I understood, but whoever that was left me puzzled.
