Assassin’s Creed Origins

Game running at 80FPS on ultra on my system 1080ti / i7 8700k @ 1440P Res so I'm happy , Game running silky smooth , As others have said the games beautiful , The only thing I will say is on normal the game is well to easy! I'm only level 15 but I have maybe died 2 times max but then again I do have the deluxe upgrades and just keep upgrading them to my ;level.

There is no point in continuesly upgrading weaponry imho.. Its just money out the window. I did one of the war elephants(skull) at like lvl 36ish with a level 20 cursed spear i had gotten from a phylakie or whatever they are called.. The thing did 10k+ damage on overpower attacks.. i then upgraded it at lvl 40 to my level.. then it did 12k on overpower attacks. 2k more damage for 6k gold is fine.. but continuesly upgrading is going to cost a lot more for a lot less in the long run. Better to wait and take bigger increments i feel.

The weapons gained from the sun dial quest are all I've needed, along with throwing some fire bombs. I'd like this to be a little more RPG where we could upgrade weapons to add fire, ice etc.. but just a minor moan. :)

Loving this game! Killed quite a few phylakes now so got all legendary gear except for a legendary shield.

Got it for free with a 10TB hard drive but would have happily paid £40 for it! Once I have completed the main game, I'll pick up season pass.

Going off on a bit of a tangent here, but does anyone know where I can get a super cheap copy of Creed Unity? I realised the other day, that it's the only one I haven't completed.

Crack is out for this. Be interesting to see if it alleviates CPU issue. Doubt it though.

I tried the crack and cpu usage looked the same, also i had to start a new game because it couldn't find my old saves.

I'm limiting my fps to 60 which reduces Cpu usage from 90% to around 50%

Finally got the Hidden ones finished off today, been ill most of week and not had heart to play anything. It was ok nothing ground breaking and unless the 2nd dlc brings some huge gains £35 currently feels like a slap in the face for DLC considering what CDR managed to give you with TW3.

I've not finished it yet, but I think it is a pathetic attempt at dlc tbh.

Edit- i can't be bothered to finish this. Possibly the worst piece of dlc for a game I've ever played. If you enjoyed this game, as I did immensely, don't ruin your memories of it by buying this crap

Just finished the game after a quite ridiculous final mission which takes about 3-4 hours & all of that is tedious gameplay filler. You can still free roam after but no point once you get to a certain level the missions just repeat themselves. This game is a real letdown overall.

It looks good in places especially the desert & Egyptian scenes are stunning. But gameplay is very poor most of it is tedious quest fetching or following other NPCs around making sure they do not get hurt.

8/10 for graphics
2/10 for gameplay mechanics
0/10 for all the forced cut scenes of which there are way too many!

What do you mean 'forced' cutscenes? You can skip them...

Haven't finished the DLC yet, but seems....ok? It's more of the same, which is fine with me. Main complaint is that it's a separate world, would have been nice it was an expansion of the main map you could sail to...

ryzen 7 at stock. ti at stock. the gpu does get very hot but only registrered 75oc when it crashed.
It may be worth trying with the memory at 2666. When I had a 1700X the memory would pass any stress test I could throw at it but many games would crash if the memory was clocked > 2666, and that was with B-die although on a B350 board.
I'm not a Ryzen hater, just providing my own experience in case it's helpful.
