I think this is what you're after.

We need to put an amplifier or something that makes our minimum input forces to always be "above" the minimum steering wheel forces, so that you always feel something. This way, you will be able to use less gain, that will protect you from clipping during extreme situations of countersteering, but you will still feel all the lower forces while driving normally.

We're working on it, but can't give you an ETA about it, sorry.

got that snoopy version of the ring thanks :D bit of confusion as to where to dump it but got there in the end :D
\steamapps\common\assetto corsa\content\tracks for anyone else :p (probably obvious but I was being special last night)

myself and nuts were both giving it a go. I chose the ferrari 599xx Evo .....tis quite the handful xD and also thanks to nuts' influence we chose the realism to PRO and then I just put auto clutch on and we put mech damage to 100% :p

lots of fun, but a bit different to the feel of iracing. managed to get a 9.10 track time.... which included a few crashes.... on of which I had to reverse out of a barrier :p for 100% damage on it's quite forgiving as I full on smashed the barriers.... talking close to 200MPH on the straights but then getting air from a brow and diving right into the barriers :p



more importantly.... how do we set up our own multiplayer? looks like atm there's a few dedicated servers which you have to book in advance from forum admins (or something? ). is there a way I or he could host? didn;t see any options.... but they did have a LAN option... so could potentially use hamachi to create our lan and then join on that?


also damn!!! how violent does the FFB get when you're going fast!!! nuts told me to do a drag race with the zonda.... my lord! it wants to fling you off the track!!!!

oh a few more quick Qs..... graphics.... how do I get rid of this like standard blur rubbish? like even when in pits and looking at the car... there seems to just be a post processing filter that makes everything slightly blurred. bit like the post processing in ArmaII/III.

anyone gotten sweet fx to run with it? :p lol

I use the above settings and have HDR on and then adjust it with PGUP/DN while in game.

It's the sparse sampling that makes the biggest difference to the image quality in my opinion.
 
Also Has anyone tried Dashmeter pro for Project cars/assetto corsa on the android play store.
I just picked it up and its awesome!
Tells you everything from G forces to fuel to throttle and brake power...laps..speed..rpm...best lap...Tire temps and tire pressure..everything you could want.
 
Sasso, i've got to beat your time tonight, mine was a ridiculously slow 10min 56 seconds with plenty of penalties/crashes.

Will look at setting up a server later, might as well put my Dual Xenon station to use :-)
 
Any good happen to this since the multiplayer came out?
I been caught by the DayZ and Prison Architect bug so not had time to grab my wheel..
 
Was tempted to pick this up in the Steam sale when it was 50% off, but using an X360 controller would be heresy. Would love to get a proper wheel setup, but not sure if I'd have the room for one. Also they cost a bit :p

one of our mates said last night, when he noticed us playing, that he uses a controller...so can't be thatttt bad? :p

also depends what you want from the wheel really. I picked up a thrustmaster ferrari experience for £20 from the place where that dog listens to the noise that come from the person that owns him (see what i did there :p ). sure it doesn't have FFB but was fine for an introduction. The more recently picked up a logitech DFGT (second hand) for uhhh £60 from that place that sells GAMEs ;) was picking up something in town and happened to notice it in the window :D

just gotta keep an eye out :) or ask very nicely and I might send you the thrustmaster for a small fee xD


(lol just looked and the wheel I got brand new for £20 is like 40+ from places o.O ....£80 in argoooos...... LOL!!!! )

lol did you beat it? :p and did you get anything set up? don't think I saw you on last night... but I was just sat afk for most of the evening :p

learn? just wing it ;) but bring it! Think I can knock 30 secs off easy* if I don't crash into things resulting in having to do a 3 point turn :p ... or two xD

just when traveling so fast in a straight line the wheel wants to go every direction but straight :p


*limited by my ability not to crash xD
