Assetto Corsa

I need this in my life for sure, been following it for a while, but never pulled the trigger on buying it, if i buy it now, will that be it and no more payments?.

Yes.

There will be DLC packs after the full v1.0 release though.

"All pre-order customers will receive their first DLC content pack for free, consisting of Spa Francorchamps and several car models. The DLC pack will be available 6-8 weeks after the release of the initial version."

Getting a random pause with the latest build.
Game freezes for 1/2 a second or so, then carries on.

It was happening in the older builds, maybe once every lap, but now it's anywhere from every 10 secs to 30secs.

Tried turning off PrecisionX / Rivatuner, in case it was related to the overlay, but it's still there.

What's the spec of your system?
 
Win7 x64 / i5 [email protected] / Asus P7P55D / 8GB 1600mhz DDR3 / Gtx 780 / OCZ 700w psu / Xonar DSx

There's a few others reporting it on the AC forum as well, so I'l see what pops up.

Originally thought it was sound related, as it mainly seemed to happen when I downshifted, but it now does it even when sitting still in the new build.
 
I'm seriously contemplating buying the G27 for both Assetto Corsa and Project Cars. Loved my MS wheel on the 360 with Forza series. I'm going to farp my panties playing these games with a wheel on PC I just know it
 
you won't be doing much fapping over project cars with a wheel, physics and ffb are terrible relative to Assetto Corsa/Iracing.
 
Anyone know where I can get this cheaper than the Steam price of £29.99.. ideally don't want to pay any more than £20 ???
 
Bought this last night and think its great, If 1 of you guys using the 360 pad could list a few settings for it that you're using that'd be great!

Any ETA on a SLI profile?
