Thanks guys. Was working in control panel but not in game, had to change some settings in Steam but it's seeing it now!

AC is much better with the wheel! Need to think about a stand maybe as I'm just using the wheel clamped to the desk but good so far!

Not if you compare to the F40 on street tires ;)

I've actually rediscovered the F40 because of the Diablo, I've decided I'm driving nothing but it until I master it enough to beat 100% AI. It seems completely impossible at first, but once you read the torque-power graphs and learn to upshift early it start to come together and I feel this teaches a lot about driving in general. Brakes on the F40 are *interesting* too, I can push them to 100% without locking, but then they heat up and I need to let go a bit so as not to lock up... Fun-fun-fun :)

I've a lot of love for the F40 and I'd say it's in my top 5 cars but every time I drive it I struggle to keep it under control while driving fast. I'm going to have another go with it and learn how to drive it, same goes for the escort.

I'm really fond of the Ford Escort.

When I first had a go with the TH8A.

I love the escort it's just very tail happy.

I'm more into road cars than race cars, I've been driving a 205 rallye last night as I used to have one many years ago, loads of fun had.

He was driving against the AI 458 that always defaults to semslicks, so his F40 is probably also on semis (great job nonetheless!). Street tires have taught me to be a lot less aggressive with the gas pedal, in fact I find that many long corners are best taken with half pressed pedal and finished with early upshift. THe torque curve peaks at 4000rpm so there is plenty of grunt anyways, but the car is more controllable on exits this way.

The RUF is the scariest.
I'm torn between the F40 and Yellowbird for scariest tbh. Seems to vary depending on my mood at the time and how I'm trying to drive!

The F40 suddenly snaps and is very difficult to catch without overdoing it and having a big tank slapper. Meanwhile the Yellowbird seems to be a lot easier to hold in a slide, you just spent the majority of a lap of a tight circuit counter steering or switching lock back and forth whilst holding it on the throttle, can't do this at all in the F40.

Both hugely rewarding though!
