Assetto Corsa

do you know, if i make a replay using a custom skin, then someone else sees the replay, will it have the custom skin?

I'm not one to play a lot of racing games as there's very few that 'click' for me, but this is one that does. Whether it will stress you out depends on the kind of person you are, but I find it quite nice just choosing a car and track, without the online or career component adding stress.

Do I'm finding it quite relaxing personally, and it's making me Co side spending a hell of a lot more on a wheel.

Go for it :-)

It depends really, if your comfortable with realistic racers, as opposed to semi-realistic or arcade racers, this is about as good a sim as you'll find. They're both quite different, i cant imagine getting too frustrated in EUTS2 but screwing up a corner at the end of a good lap can be :D It depends what relaxes you, AC would probably be far more satisfying and enjoyable though.

Think i'm going to go for it :) Downloading now!

Hello and happy new year to everybody!
We are getting back to full activity after the holidays and we are working hard to prepare the next update that will go live on Friday 17 January. Our top priority and objective at the moment is to optimise the AI and have it working at least on some special events.
We would like to thank everybody for their support and looking forward for an exciting 2014!

Sounds good.

Just want my driving force gt now :-)

Looking forward to a few hours tomorrow of just kicking back and trying different cars.

I'd actually even be happy with just a ghost car

Oh...... I'll have to figure out how to use/enable it then :D

Doh!

It's in the options before you start a session. There is a stopwatch Icon where you can set the time of day and things.

I'm just tried a setup for the Zonda around Mugello and knocked 4 seconds of my time with it. Currently running at 5th so well happy.

Yup! Paid £260, was originally on eBay but turns out the guy only lived on the other side of town so got a nice deal on it!

In the middle of setting it up :)

Just the Xbox 360 force feedback one from back in my forza days. So this is a big upgrade as im new to PC and have massively been missing my racing games.

Wow, that's a huge step up! Since you enjoy drifting, you're probably gonna love your new T500 :) Looking forward to your impressions. I'm learning to drift in LFS with my DFP at the moment and its tough going :)

Anyone got one of these they can help me setup? The wheel was working but pedals weren't. So installed some updates from thrustmasters website now nothing works :( everytime I plug the usb in it says driver software was not successfully installed

EDIT: I think I need drivers but I can't find them anywhere

Unplug the wheel from USB port on your PC.

Uninstall everything.

Download latest drivers from Thrustmaster.

Install the drivers, do not plug wheel into PC until told to do so.

Make sure the pedals are plugged into wheel before you start.

Check they are in the right mode once connected. As standard the MODE light should be red. If the pedals are in the inverted position it should be green. Press and hold MODE button on wheel base until you get the correct coloured light that corresponds to how the pedals are set.
