Assetto Corsa

Yup, Rivali Tempo 4.4
http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?threads/rivali-tempo-4-4.3215/

I liked the idea you can compare times against those on your steam friends list and groups. However, the group didn't work as I expected.

For example I wanted to compare my lap times to OCUK members who have AC and are in the OCUK members group, however it seems you need to manually submit your group for submission.

The track delta comparisons is a neat feature and it shows what level of assists each driver was using.

Ive got both Rivali and RSR leaderboards installed, so if one of them lets me compare times to OcUK racers that would be great... Steam ID is DreederUK with a photo of a Civic as my avatar.

Popped into the purple shirt shop had a G27 in stock so nabbed it for £189 after O2 discount.

Looking forward to giving it a bash.

What settings are people using on their G27's?

Currently have:

Logitech global profile:

Overall effect: 100%
Spring effect: 0%
Damper effect: 0%
Enable Centering spring (Unticked)
Centering spring strength: 0%
Combined pedals (Unticked)
Degrees of rotation: 900
Allow game to adjust settings (Ticked)

In game:

Gain: 75%
Filter: 0%
Damping: 0%
Kerb: 50%
Road: 40%
Slip: 15%

These seem ok? Had a look at the thread on assetto corsa and tried a few but none felt quite right.

If anyone could post a setup they particularly like for the G27 that would be great :)

I already have the TH8RS, but this plate, gear knob and short shift rod looks awesome.

$30 for the rod and $60 for the plate delivered from the States and around £15 for the knob is around £70 in total. Bit expensive, but it does look nice.

G27 settings:

Similar to yours, but 720 degrees, and less FF effects like slip etc. I like it :)

In logitech soft:

And in game- you may want to try Road Effects at around 20% to feel the bumps in the road.

Has anyone got/used the Fanatec Motorsport CSR wheel? I was planning to order the T500RS on Friday but I have a chance at getting the above with CSR Elite pedals for around £250 but I dont know much about the wheel?

I know the pedals are good due to the load cell, but is this a good price and is the wheel on a par with the T500RS?

Just left all my G25 settings at default when I set it up. Will have a look what they are set as, don't think I've really found anything that could be improved with a setting change though. Don't think anything will make me and the wheel react quicker to snap oversteer the occasional tank slapper!
Managed an awesome drift all the way around the final corner of Mugello in the KTM with barely any correction yesterday. Was grinning for ages after that, such a great car to drive and really forgiving!

I have a CSR.
Though not as good as a T500 in terms of speed and outright power, the CSR is a very good wheel (and I retract most of the negative early impressions I posted previously in this thread), but the main issue is the rim. Because the rim is plastic, it creaks when you turn into the FFB since the plastic is screwed to the aluminium central plate which is obviously a lot more rigid.

Can't comment on the pedals because I have Clubsports. Doubt there's any real difference in operation between them and the Elites and either would be better than the T500 pedals.
