Assistance - Calling all Samsung EVO owners

Personally I don't trust Samsung, they are liars.

When I bought my Pro, it was because of the cash back offer they were doing, they never ever paid me that cash back, nor offered any reason or reply as to why they were not giving me the entitled cash back and ignoring me.

Did you email them with proof of purchase? That's all I did and I got my cashback

There have been a couple of cashback offers on the EVO (at least one, anyway).

I, along with most others, never got our cashback within the 28 days as stated. We had to make a phone call, and amazingly the payment was made soon afterwards. I made the call about 2 months after the purchase, and I was told that my payment was due to be processed. I doubt it would have been made if I hadn't made the call.

Too many companies are run by dodgy salesmen, backed by accountants. See NVIDIA and Corsair as prime examples.
 
i did my tests on my SSD yesterday (1-2-15) ill do the same tests on the 1-3-15 and post the results to see if it stays the same or if it starts to drop more.

Could you please give us some information about the issue: when did you run the Restoration software?

After how many weeks did you get back the same low performances issue? Is the SSD built in a daily used PC?

Had the expected "we're looking into it" response from Hanaro. Asked me to keep them updated with HD Tune results over the coming weeks.

I've ran Disk Fresh on my drive again to give me 95% normal performance. Will see how long it takes to drop again.
