ASUS 42" ROG Swift PG42UQ

I can’t find it on the OC website? What is the warranty on the monitor?

Just search Asus 42"

Warranty wise, Asus site states:

LCD Monitors Warranty Policy

Casing
Panel
Parts and Accessories (optional)
3 Years
3 Years
1 Year (cables and bundled gifts are excluded from the warranty)

I would recommend at least updating to V028 firmware from the Asus website which has improvements and bug fixes from the shipping V023 FW. I’ll report back on the updated V031 but it’s a simple and easy upgrade each time :)

Updated to V028, took a while to transfer but went fine. Think we really need V031 or better to sort out the brightness levels though?

Using FancyZones now, gone for 4x 1920x1080 grid with 0 pixels between them to start with, see how I get on.

Edit: I contacted Asus re V031 and was told V028 is the latest and to keep refreshing the downloads page regularly

Received mine today and coming from a 48CX i just expected the VESA mounting to be the same, its not. My adapter plate only does 300x200 max. Anyone know of a good quality 300x300 VESA adaptor that’ll work well with the Ergotron HX arm?

I imagine something like this one would work B00ACAUDUA ? I've got mine on the desk at the moment but was considering an Ergotron wall mounted arm and using that plate to adapt it.

I ordered "NEOMOUNTS BY NEWSTAR VESA CONVERSION STRIPS - VESA 100 TO 200X100, 200X200, 400X200, 400X400 - BLACK (#Neomounts by Newstar-FPMA-VESA425)" for my Ergotron HX

Anyone else having issues getting hdr AND 4K activated in windows 11? It just refuses to do it. Gonna upgrade the firmware and try again.
No problem with that. Which input are you using and is the cable certified for it?

I have an issue in that I use an AV receiver that is 8k compatible for the sound (via HDMI) and when I switch it on and Duplicate the screens I lose the HDR capability. I am having to Extend the desktops as a workaround.

Yeah the cable says it’s 4K 120 certified but I can’t seem to get more than 4K 60 sdr. Must be the cable if you guys are all ok. It’s in hdmi 1 next to the display port which I think is 2.1. Also my text is blurry in windows… can’t seem to fix it.

Have you tried scrolling down the resolution list? The first section of resolutions listed is normally only configurable for 60hz, the second section for pc allows 120. Basically there are 2 lists in that scroll down window.

On windows 11 it’s just one list unfortunately. I’ve also tried doing it through the nvidia control panel with no luck. Have ordered another cable - will see tomorrow if it fixes things.
