when i run 3d mark the gpu load never goes up much in gpu-z and the core clock and memory clock stay at 500?
i thought it should be higher than that?
slight improvement with overdrive enabled.
still dont think im getting 750mhz gpu clock

ok i installed riva tuner and when i run a 3d game i get both gpu running at 750mhz core,
ive tried everything i can think of and still getting average 130fps in cod4 dunno if this is as good as it gets.

Argh, haven't been able to do anything with it yet. Tried installing both Vista and Windows 7 x64, both times when I install the latest ATi drivers I get a 0x00000116 BSOD with "atikmdag.sys" error. Grrrrr.

Thats good fps. Thats around what im getting.

i get at least that but closer to 200fps with 8800GTS 512MB on 1680x1050, all eye candy on including forced 8x AA and AF so i'd say there's something up with ur card.

Are you sure AA & AF are forced on? In what sections do you get 200fps with a 8800GTS?

8x in nvidia control panel and u have to input a console command in game so it isnt locked to 125fps. 200 was a geusstimation from last time i had fraps on (about a month ago).

I'm just concerned as previouslly mentioned this'll be sat within the royal mail depot for 2 weeks if i was to miss delivery (which i'll be purchasing next day/closest delivery anywho )

with the cod 4 depends if config are used and what res, settings, maps, loads of factors.

backalot and say overgrown probably get half as much fps on overgrown as backalot for example.


what fps you got it set to


are you taking your fps running around fighting /shooting or looking at floor loads of different things.that could effect your fps.

the 9.4 drivers seem best solution for me and cod 4 (also waw) and smoothness and highest fps
