Thanks for posting the picture with the heatsinks off now I know my old rampage 4 extreme waterblocks will not fit on the southbridge.

They are supposed to be launching it on the 29th and then shipping out at the end of the week so that date would make sense. You never know they may turn up earlier.
 
Seen it all before!! Great stable board. Set XTU world record for 6 Core CPU with 4930K on this one. XTU uses a Prime style torture to test the CPU. So stable board for sure especially wih RAM running 2800+ C8-12-8-22 1T

Im a gamer so I don't really need to overlclock the memory and ill just end up leaving it in XMP mode.

Also the guide doesn't mention whats the recommended Vcore to stay at, what would you suggest. Ill be cooling the cpu (4930k) with the corsair H100i and probably aiming for about 4.3-4.6Ghz.

Gonna hit 3 x 780 3D 11 this weekend with RAM on LN2. Interestingly this board is amazing with RAM. I did 2700+ C7-10-7-22 with TRFC at 64 this weekend quad channel on LN2 while testing XTU and 11 efficiency.

Just wonder what is the best timing and possible voltage for 2666 and 2800 CR1 with samsung 30nm IC and stock air cooling? I'm interested in maximizing the throughout and performance for 24/7 uses.

Test man!!! The best possible is like 9-12-12-21 1T at 2666mhz all subs tight. 1.9v.

thanks, 8 pack! could you suggest the best timing for 2666 CL10?
someone told me narrowing down tRAS may cause performance degradation, is that true?
I notice you've complimented more than once that R4BE is amazing for RAM over clocking, could you elaborate further? what kind of benefit we can expect from R4BE? for example, does it become easier to stable at 2666c9 with lower volt?
 
I have only benched with RIVE BE as yet so I only have been using high volts and ultra high performance profiles. Tuning for competition Overclocking.

2666 C9 with low volts I doubt it!! maybe possible with relaxed subs which you take a perf hit for. C10-12-12 is possible with a good kit I am sure.
