Does clocking the card help much. So far ive just upped cache and ram speed, 4300mhz and 2600mhz.

Yeah too a point, think my run was at about 1230mhz, also tried 1400mhz which made no difference

Mine only goes that high cos it's under water and I can feed it lots of volts, your memory clocks higher than mine

Have you changed from "best appearance" to "performance " and changed priority to realtime, does net a few more points

Broke the 4.800GHz by 11.8Hrtz = 4.811.8GHz would you beleave it at 1.5v and completed a run of Realbeanch as well > going by the last couple of days everytime l tried 4.8 it failed.

But today from about 2.00 till 4.00 thats how long it took me to break the 4.8GHz Barrier just taking my time and trying different Bios settings CPU Strap and BLCK Ratios.

Going to have a beer to celebrate the Big Breaking 4.800GHz Barrier and passing Realbench.

Do it mate, do it!! Have you tried adaptive mode yet?? Worked for me on mine, and judging by your volts yours is a little better, should be able to gain another 100hz whilst keeping temps in check.

Setter its still a nice chip bud at 4.5GHz, be carefull as you'll get the olddutch courage with the drink.lol

Adaptive voltage on this chip is a no go mate. It puts way too much into it. i Just use fixed vcore with level 8 llc. Im primarily a gamer, chip copes with bf4 pretty well at 4.5. But ill keep it for a while until a good clocker comes up. Thinking of going to stock speed soon. Case transfer coming up. New phanteks enthoo luxe. Dont wanna kill anything lol.

From the results I've seen you won't see many. Asus really do care about the FX 8. The whole benchmark was built up to be pretty fair to all CPUs, and the lack of cores on the I5 really shows..

Just started with a bit of mild overclocking.

Edit: Bit more and also some clocking on the gpu's (ram was at 2000MHz but not showing in the specs for some reason)
