Asus ROG X570 Crosshair Dark Hero Release? *** NO Competitor Talk ***

I can’t get to it, the picture is deceiving it’s almost as if it’s been folded back on its self and with the plastic covering I can’t get anything on it.

try a small flat head screw driver, can fit in and is wide enough to let you apply force to the pin over the length of it, what I used, carefully though

Honestly its easy to sort out. As mentioned tweezers or a screw driver will fix it.

add me to the list, I had thought I bent it by trying to connect the plug, but didnt know how exactly, mystery solved

I also bent it back into place pretty easily

So four of us with the same bent pin issue.

I spent an hour or so looking at it this morning, I can't unbend the pins. It's almost as if the pin is concertinaed back on itself, it's also very close to the plastic housing, even with a very narrow pair of angled tweezers and a magnifying glass I can't get enough purchase on it. Besides, already got a refund agreed so not going to risk it any further.

Worse comes to worse I could always move the C8H over to my replacement case with the Arctic LF2 cooler and install the 5950X.

Shame but at least you gave it a go. I hope you manage to get a replacement fast, I read somewhere (cannot remember where) that more boards should be coming in around the 5th of this month.

Ok, opened mine a few moments (or actually hours ago) and managed to also bend everything back in place.. it was challenging a bit due to everything being at such an angle, had to unfasten the motherboard and twist it a bit (which meant that hay I had to disconnect half the things connected on the mb).

While working there I noticed the pins in the pic I've noted. It's right next to the chassis fan. Those pins don't come up in the manual nor do they have anything written next to it. Anyone knows what they could possibly be for?

Nice.
If only my 011 mini was here!!
Got my PC part assembled on a box

interesting you put the PSU on the bottom. I thought that was for the HDD tray.

how you finding the motherboard?
I’ve only had a brief play with the Dynamic OC so far but seems like it works.

I've ran with PBO which runs the CPU a little hot at 85c running benches. I've tried 4.6GHz all core fine and the Gskill 3600cas16 4x8GB runs out the box ok. Not played with curve optimiser or Asus Dynamic OC yet.

It was taken down for a reason as it was not working correctly with 1 processor. It will be back soon when modified shortly
